QBiC MS-1 スタートアップガイド はじめに このたびは QBiC MS-1 をお買い上げいただき、誠 にありがとうございます。 本ガイドは、本製品を正しく使用するために必要な 設定・使い方を説明しています。 ご使用前に必ず本ガイドおよび「安全上のご注意」 をお読みください。 本ガイドに記載されていない設定やご使用方法につ いては、「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル」をご 参照ください。 本紙はいつでも使用できるように大切に保管してく ださい。 《QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル》 「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル」は QBiC オフィシャルウェブサイト上でご覧ください。 QBiC オフィシャルウェブサイト: http://www.elmoqbic.com/ 2 箱の中身を確認する □ 本機 (QBiC MS-1) USB ケーブル(0.2m) □ レンズ保護キャップ □ スタートアップガイド & 安全上のご注意 (本紙) □ 保証書 □ スマートクリップ ※付属した製品をご購入の場合 その使用方法については、スマートクリップの梱包の 底面をご覧いただくか、あるいは取扱説明書をＷＥＢ サイトよりダウンロードしてご確認下さい。 スマートフォン等の傷がつきやすい製品へ取り付けの 際は、装着される製品へ予め保護シート等を貼り付け ることをおすすめ致します。 出荷に際し、品質や梱包などには万全を期しておりま すが、万一破損や部品不足、その他お気づきの点が ありましたら、直ちに弊社までご連絡くださいますようお 願いいたします。 3 * 本製品は、GPL/LGPL の適用ソフトウェアを使用しており、これら のソースコードの入手、改変、再配布の権利があります。詳細は、 「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル」をご覧ください。 使用上のご注意 ■SSID 及び Key の変更について 第 3 者による不正利用を防止すため、SSID 及び Key を変更することをお勧めします。変更した SSID 及び Key は工場出荷時の設定に戻すことができます。 ■バッテリーの性能、寿命について 本製品に内蔵のバッテリーは、充電式リチウムポリマ ー電池です。 ・バッテリーには寿命があり、温度、使用回数、使用時 間、時間の経過につれて、バッテリーの容量は少し ずつ低下します。 ・常温(10～30℃)で使用できる時間が大幅に短くなっ た場合は、寿命と思われます。新しいバッテリーに交 換が必要です。ご購入先またはエルモ社カスタマー サービスまでバッテリーの交換(有料)をご依頼くださ い。 ・低温時や高温時には充電できない場合があります。 10～30℃の場所にしばらく放置後、充電してください。 低温環境から暖かい場所へ移動する際は、結露にご 注意ください。 ・本製品のバッテリーが切れると本体内の日時はリセ ットされます。 ■本機を廃棄するときのお願い 本製品に内蔵されている充電式リチウムポリマー電池 はリサイクルできます。この充電式リチウムポリマー電 4 池の取りはずしはお客様自身では行わず、弊社カスタ マーサービスもしくは販売店、最寄りの弊社支店にお 問い合わせください。 ■本機内部高温時の安全動作について 電源が入っている時に、本機内部が既定温度になる と「電源 LED」がシアンで点灯し警告します。さらに、 内部の温度が上がると安全のため、録画を停止させ て自動で本機の電源が切れます。高温環境下で使用 する場合、動作温度の範囲内でも安全動作が働くこと があります。 ■本機を購入後、最初に御使用になる前に下記の QBiC オフィシャルウェブサイトから最新ファームウェア を入手しアップデートして下さい。 QBiC オフィシャル ウェブサイト:http://www.elmoqbic.com/ *アップデート方法はサイト内に記載されています。 5 各部の総称 前面 シャッター スイッチ インターフェイス部 カバー 電源スイッチ 録画 LED 電源 LED WiFi LED USB 端子(Micro B) microSD カードスロット HDMI 端子(Micro D) レンズ 背面 動画撮影スイッチ WiFi スイッチ アクセサリ取付けネジ穴 アクセサリ取付けネジの取付け可能な雄ネジ長さ：5.5mm 以下 * 5.5mm を越える長さのネジを取り付けると、ネジ穴を破損します。 準備する 充電方法 本製品はバッテリーを内蔵しております。 6 * 本製品のバッテリーはお客様にて取外し出来ません。 * お買い上げ時はバッテリーが十分に充電されておりませんので、 必ず充電後お使いください。 1. 2. 3. 4. 本機の電源を切ります。電源が入っていると充電 できませんので必ず切ってください。 本機のインターフェイス部カバーを開け、付属品 の USB ケーブルの micro B コネクタ(小さい方のコ ネクタ)を挿入します。 コネクタを電源が入っている PC の USB ポートに 挿入すると充電を開始します。充電中は「電源 LED」が赤色に点灯します。 「電源 LED」が消灯したら充電完了です。 AC アダプタ(別売)について PC の USB ポートと接続し、本体の電源を入れた 場合は、電池残量が減少して行く為長時間の連 続使用は出来ません。 本機専用の AC アダプタ(別売り)をご使用頂くと 電池残量が減少しない為、連続してご使用する 事が可能になります。 (市販の AC アダプタでは本機が起動しない場合があり ます。本機専用の AC アダプタをご使用頂く事を推奨い たします。) microSD カードをセットする 1. 本機側面のインターフェイス部カバーを外します。 7 2. microSD カードスロットに microSD カードを挿入し ます。 * 挿入する際、向きにご注意ください。また、microSD カードはカチ ッと音がするまで挿入してください。正しく挿入されていない場合、エ ラーが発生や本機が故障する原因になります。 * 使用可能な microSD カードは「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュア ル」をご確認ください。 3. 側面のインターフェイス部カバーを戻します。 * インターフェイス部カバーは必ず正しくはめてください。 不十分な場合、防水性が損なわれ、本機が故障する原因となりま す。 電源を入れる/電源を切る 電源を入れる 「電源スイッチ」を 1 秒以上押すと電源が入ります。 電源 LED が青色に点灯します。 電源を切る 「電源スイッチ」を 2 秒以上押すと電源が切れます。全 ての LED が消灯します。 8 (USB ケーブルを PC 若しくは別売りオプションの AC アダプタにて電源に接続されている場合は充電が始 まる為、電源 LED が赤点灯します。) *以下の異常状態になった場合、自動的に電源オフになります。 -本機の温度が安全に使用できる限界を超えた場合 -内蔵バッテリーに何等かの障害が発見された場合 撮影する 「動画撮影」「静止画撮影」ができます。「静止画撮影」 には「通常撮影」「連続撮影」「インターバル撮影」の 3 つのモードがあります。 撮影した動画や静止画は microSD カードに保存されま す。 それぞれの設定はスマートフォンで動作する QBiC ア プリでおこないます。 (詳細は「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル」をご覧く ださい。) 動画を撮影する ・本機の「動画撮影スイッチ」を押すと確認音が鳴り、 録画を開始します。録画中は「録画 LED」が赤色に 点灯します。 ・録画中に再度「動画撮影スイッチ」を押すと確認音 が鳴り、撮影を終了します。「録画 LED」が消灯しま す。 9 静止画を撮影する(通常撮影：シングルモード) ・本機の「シャッタースイッチ」を押すとシャッター音が 鳴り、静止画を 1 枚撮影します。記録中は「録画 LED」が青色に点灯します。 静止画を撮影する(連続撮影：バーストモード) ・「シャッタースイッチ」を押すと、10 枚連続で撮影しま す。連続撮影中はシャッター音が鳴り、静止画を記 録します。記録中は「録画 LED」が青色に点灯しま す。 静止画を撮影する(定期撮影：インターバルモード) ・「シャッタースイッチ」を押すと、設定した間隔で定期 的に静止画撮影を行います。撮影時はその都度シ ャッター音が鳴り、「録画 LED」が青色に点灯しま す。 ・インターバル撮影の間隔を 30 秒以上に設定すると 撮影後次の撮影迄、本体が自動的に電源オフにな ります。 ・インターバル撮影中に「電源スイッチ」で電源オンも しくは電源オフを行うと、インターバル撮影が終了し ます。 本機で撮影した動画/静止画は以下のファイル形式で 保存されます。 動画/静止画のファイル形式 動画/静止画 動画 静止画 ファイル形式 ファイル拡張子: .mp4 ファイル拡張子: .jpg 10 ライブビューを見る 本機とスマートフォンを WiFi 経由で接続し、QBiC のモ ニターとして撮影中の映像をリアルタイムで視聴するこ とができます。 モニターとして使用できるスマートフォンの OS および バージョンは以下の通りです。 [iOS (iPhone / iPad / iPod touch)] : 5.1 ～ 7.0.x [Android OS] : 4.0 ～ 4.3.x 本ガイドでは、本機と接続可能な機器を以下「モニタ ー」と称します。 QBiC アプリケーションのインストール iOS、Android ともに、はじめに QBiC 専 用アプリケーションをインストールする必 要があります。 「App Store」から「QBiC APP」ア プリをダウンロードします。 「Play ストア」から「QBiC APP」ア プリをダウンロードします。 それぞれのダウンロード方法につきましては QBiC オ フィシャルウェブサイトをご覧ください。 QBiC オフィシャルウェブサイト: http://www.elmoqbic.com/ 11 WiFi で接続する スマートフォンを使用する場合の WiFi 接続方法をご説 明します。詳しい設定方法はそれぞれの取扱説明書を ご確認ください。 [本機の準備] 1. 本機の電源をオンにします。 2. 本機の「WiFi LED」が青色点滅から点灯(WiFi 機 能が有効)に変わったことを確認します。もし「WiFi LED」が点灯しない場合は「WiFi スイッチ」を押して 有効にしてください。 [モニターの準備(iOS 機の場合)] 3. モニターのホーム画面から「設定」→「Wi-Fi」とタッ プします。 4. 「Wi-Fi」設定画面の「Wi-Fi」を「オン」にします。 5. 「ネットワークを選択…」内のリスト中から 「QBiCMSxxxxxxx」(x は製品のシリアル番号の 7 文字)を探しタップしてください。 6. パスワード入力画面が表示されますので 「1234567890」を入力してください。 7. 「接続」ボタンをタップします。 8. 「QBiCMSxxxxxxx」の左側に✓マークがつき、選 択されます。 9. WiFi 設定をクローズし、ホーム画面に戻ります。 10. モニターのホーム画面より「QBiC APP」アプリを 起動します。 11. ライブビューが表示され、本機の撮影画像が表示 されます。 12 12. アプリ上で通信エラーメッセージが表示された場合 は本機とモニターの設定を再確認し、本機およびモ ニターを再起動後、アプリを再起動してください。 * 通信距離はご使用の環境によって変わります。うまく通信できない ときは本機とモニターの距離を近づける、または障害物がない環境 で再実行してみてください。 [モニターの操作(Android OS の場合)] 3. モニターのホーム画面から「設定」→「Wi-Fi」とタッ プします。 4. 「Wi-Fi」設定画面の「Wi-Fi」を「オン」にスライドし ます。 5. 表示されているリスト中から「QBiCMSxxxxxxx」 を探しタップしてください。 6. パスワード入力画面が表示されますので 「1234567890」を入力してください。 7. 「接続」ボタンをタップします。 8. 「QBiCMSxxxxxxx」が「接続済み」となります。 9. Wi-Fi 設定をクローズし、ホーム画面に戻ります。 10. モニターのホーム画面より「QBiC APP」アプリを 起動します。 11. ライブビュー画面になり、本機の撮影画像が表示 されます。 12. アプリ上で通信エラーメッセージが表示された場合、 本機とモニターの設定を再度確認し、本機およびモ ニターを再起動してからアプリを再起動してくださ い。 * 通信距離はご使用の環境によって変わります。うまく通信できないと きは本機とモニターの距離を近づける、または障害物がない環境で 再度実行してみてください。 13 再生 本機で撮影した静止画及び動画は、microSD カード上 の録画ファイルを PC 等に移動し、PC の環境で見る以 外に、本機と WiFi 接続したモニター若しくは HDMI ケ ーブルにて接続したテレビやプロジェクタを用いて再生 する事が出来ます。 本機の録画映像をテレビやプロジェクタで再生する 本機側面のインターフェイス部カバーを開きます。 市販の HDMI ケーブルを用いて、テレビやプロジェ クタの HDMI 入力端子と本機の HDMI 端子を接 続してください。(HDMI ケーブルは本機に接続す る端子が「micro D」端子であるものが必要で す。) 3. 本機の「電源スイッチ」を長押し(1 秒)して電源を入 れてください。本機が立上ると接続した、テレビやプ ロジェクタにライブビューが表示されます。 4. 本機の「電源スイッチ」を押すと再生モードに切り 替わります。 5. 本機にて撮影した静止画や動画のサムネイルが 表示されていますので、「電源スイッチ」を押して表 示したい画像を選択してください。 6. 選択後、「動画記録スイッチ」を押すと選択画像を 再生します。 7. 再生後、サムネイルモードを選択して「動画撮影ス イッチ」を押すとサムネイル画面に戻ります。 1. 2. 詳細は「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル」をご覧ください。 14 本機の録画映像をスマートフォンで再生する 「App Store」「Play ストア」にて公開している、「QBiC APP」を用いて本機内の静止画/動画ファイルを再生す る事が可能です。 詳細は「QBiC MS-1 ユーザーズ・マニュアル」をご覧ください。 マスストレージ モード 本機をストレージデバイスとして使用します。本機に挿 入されている microSD カードのデータを PC 等に取り 込む事が出来ます。 マスストレージ モードの起動方法 本機側面のインターフェイス部カバーを開きます。 本機の電源を切った状態で、PC と本機を付属の USB ケーブルで接続します。 (USB コネクタの向きにご注意ください。) 3. 本機の電源スイッチを押します。 4. 本機内部の microSD カードがリムーバブルディス クとして認識されます。確認音が鳴り、PC にメニュ ー画面が表示されます。 5. 実行したいメニューを選択して操作します。 6. 操作完了後、本機の電源をオフにした状態で、 USB ケーブルを本体から抜き、本機側面のインタ ーフェイス部カバーを閉めます。 1. 2. *本機が動作中に USB ケーブルで PC と接続した場合もマスストレー ジモードになります。 * インターフェイス部カバーは必ず完全に閉めてください。不十分な 場合、防水性が損なわれ、本機が故障する原因となります。 15 その他の機能及びご注意 本製品のその他の機能については「QBiC MS-1 ユー ザーズ・マニュアル」をご覧ください。 本製品を強制的に電源オフする方法 本製品に何等かの問題が生じた場合、電源オフした 後再度電源オンしてください。 通常の電源オフが出来なかった場合は、電源スイッチ を 10 秒間押し続ける事で強制的に電源オフする事が 出来ます。 *本製品が録画中等如何なる場合でも電源オフします。 本製品をご購入時の設定に戻す方法 本製品の設定を、ご購入時の設定に戻す場合は、電 源オンの状態で、「動画撮影スイッチ」「WiFi スイッチ」 の二つのスイッチを同時に５秒間押し続けて下さい。 電源 LED が緑色に点滅し、ご購入時の設定に戻りま す。 本製品の防水機能について 本製品の防水機能は日常生活防水(短時間の水滴状 の飛沫に対する防水)です。 ただし、以下の場合は防水効果を保証できません。 - インターフェイス部カバーが不完全に閉じている場合 - 衝撃・劣化により本体・インターフェイス部カバーのパ ッキン部に損傷があった場合 - ほこりが多い場所・雨天時、もしくは汚れ/濡れた手で インターフェイス部カバーの開け閉めをした場合 16 バッテリーの性能、寿命について 本製品に内蔵のバッテリーは、充電式リチウムポリマ ー電池です。 - バッテリーには寿命があり、温度、使用回数、使用時 間、時間の経過につれて、バッテリーの容量は少しず つ低下します。 - 常温(10～30℃)で使用できる時間が大幅に短くなっ 動作中に USB ケーブルを抜かないでください 本製品をUSBケーブルでオプションのACアダプタ―と 接続すると外部電源動作となり電池残量に関わらず使 用する事が出来ます。その際USBケーブルを抜くと本 機の電池残量や動作状態に関わらず本機は強制的に 電源が切れます。この時、本機が録画等ファイル作成 中であった場合、該当のファイルもしくはSDカード内の 絶対におやめください。本機及びモニターの操作は、必ず乗 り物が停止した状態で行ってください。 ●衝突、転倒などの発生、けがまたは死亡、事故の原因とな ります。事故を防ぐため、法令に従い、周囲の交通や路面状 況に十分にご注意ください。 ストラップでぶら下げるなど本機を不安定な状態で、自動車、 オートバイ、自転車など乗り物の運転をしないでください。 ●何かにひっかかり、運転ミスによる衝突、転倒などの事故 の発生、けがまたは死亡の原因となります。本機が飛ばさ れると、近くの人や物に当たり、けがまたは死亡、物の損傷 の原因となります。 本機を自動車、オートバイ、自転車などの外部に取り付けて 使用しないでください。 ●自動車、オートバイ、自転車などの外部に指定されたもの 以外を取り付けることは法律で禁止されている場合がありま す。また法令に従い取り付ける場合であっても、頑丈に取り 付け、走行中に外れないように適切な処置をしてください。 本製品の内蔵バッテリーは充電式リチウムポリマー電池で す。温度や湿度の影響を受けやすいのでご注意ください。 バッテリーは本製品の専用品ですので他の機器には使用し ないでください。 本製品を体に装着して使用する場合は事故を防ぐため、周 囲の交通や状況に十分に注意してご使用ください。 ●衝突、転倒などで本機が体に衝撃を与え、けがをする原因 となります。 本機を暖房機器等の熱を発するものに近づけないでくださ い。また火の中に投げ入れたり加熱したりしないでください。 ●バッテリーが発火、破裂し、けがまたは死亡、火災の原因 となります。 可燃性、爆発性、引火性のガスなどがある場所で使用しない でください。 ●火災や爆発の原因になります。 21 警 告 本機のネジを外したり、ケースをこじ開けないでください。 ●内部には電圧の高い部分があり、発煙、発火、感電、やけ ど、故障の原因となります。 ●内部の点検・修理は、ご購入先またはエルモ社カスタマー サービスまでご依頼ください。 本機や付属品などを乳幼児の手の届くところに置かないでく ださい。 ●ケーブルを誤って首に巻きつけ、窒息に至る恐れがありま す。 ●microSDカードは誤って飲み込むと、身体に悪影響を及ぼ します。万一、飲み込んだと思われるときは、すぐに医師に ご相談ください。 ●本機を足に落としたり、踏みつけたり、下敷きにしたりして けがをする恐れがあります。 煙が出たり、変なにおいや音などがするときは、すぐに本体 の電源スイッチをオフにして、すべてのケーブルを抜き、周囲 に可燃物がない状態にして、すこし離れた場所で、煙などが 出なくなるまでお待ちください。 ●異常状態のまま使用すると、発火、発煙、感電、やけどの 原因となります。 ●煙などが出なくなるのを確認してから、ご購入先またはエ ルモ社カスタマーサービスまで修理をご依頼ください。お客 様による修理は危険です。絶対におやめください。 本機を落としたり、ぶつけたりして過度な衝撃を加えないでく ださい。本機の上に重たいものを乗せたりして、圧力をかけな いでください。 ●発煙、発火、感電、やけど、故障の原因となります。 ●本機に衝撃を加えたり、変形が生じたりしますと防水性の 保証は致しかねます。 内部に水や異物を入れたり、端子部(USB、HDMIおよびカー ドスロット)に直接、配線やピンなどをはんだ付けしたり、異物 を差し込んだりしないでください。端子部に規格外のプラグや コネクタなどを差し込んだりしないでください。各端子の接続 は根本まで確実に差し込んでご使用ください。 また、濡れた手で触らないでください。 22 ●発煙、発火、感電、やけど、故障の原因となります。 本製品は日常生活防水ではありますが、すべての状態で防 水性を保証するものではありません。雨天、降雪、海岸、水 辺でのご使用は十分にご注意ください。ご使用中に本製品に 異常が発生した場合はただちに電源スイッチをオフにしてくだ さい。その後、ご購入先またはエルモ社カスタマーサービスま でご連絡ください。 ●火災・感電の原因となります。 万一、本機の内部に水や異物などが入った場合は、電源を オフにして、すべてのケーブルを抜いてください。 ●その後、ご購入先またはエルモ社カスタマーサービスまで ご連絡ください。そのまま使用すると発煙、発火、感電、故障 の原因となります。 雷が鳴り出したら本機およびケーブルが接続されている機器 には触れないでください。 ●感電の原因となります。 自動車内の落ちやすい箇所に置かないでください。 ●急ブレーキなどで本体が落下してブレーキ操作の妨げに ならないように十分ご注意ください。 撮影時は周囲の状況に注意を払ってください。 ●周囲の状況を把握しないまま、撮影を行わないでください。 事故やけがなどの原因となります。 ストラップを持って、本機を振り回したりしないでください。 Along with the temperature, frequency of use, time of use and the time passed, battery capacity decreases gradually. ●If operation time becomes substantially short at normal temperature (between 10°and 30°C), the battery life seems to have come near its end. Using longer screws than 5.5mm will damage the port. 36 PREPARATIONS CHARGING This camera has a built-in battery. *The battery cannot be removed by the user. *The battery is not fully charged at the time of purchase. Charge the battery before using the camera for the first time. 1. Turn off the camera. Charging is not possible while the power is on. 2. Open the Interface Terminal Cover. Connect the micro B connector (smaller connector) of the supplied USB cable to the USB port of the camera. 3. Connect the USB plug of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer. Battery charging will start. The [Power LED] turns red while charging. 4. Battery is fully charged when the [Power LED] turns off. About AC adapter (Option) When using the camera with your computer by connecting them with the USB cable, a long time continuous operation is not possible as the power level will gradually decrease over time. In such cases, we recommend you to use the optional AC adapter. (Make sure to use the proprietary AC adapter otherwise the camera may not start properly with the commercially available AC adapter.) 37 INSERTING micro SD CARD 1. Open the Interface Terminal Cover. 2. Insert the micro SD card to the micro SD card slot. * Pay attention to the direction of the card when inserting the micro SD card. Insert the micro SD card until it clicks. Improper insertion of the card may cause error or damage the camera. *Refer to the QBIC MS-1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL for the compatible list of the micro SD card. 3. Close the Interface Terminal Cover. * Make sure to close the cover correctly. Otherwise the waterproof performance may be deteriorated, causing damage to the camera. POWERING ON/OFF POWERING ON Press and hold (over 1 second) the [Power Switch] to power on the camera. The [Power LED] turns blue. 38 POWERING OFF Press and hold (over 2 second) the [Power Switch] to power off the camera. All LED’s turn off. (When the camera is connected to a computer or the optional AC adapter via the USB cable, charging will start and the [Power LED] turns red. *The power of the camera automatically goes off under the following conditions: - When the temperature of the camera exceeds the safety limit - When a defect is detected for the battery SHOOTING With this camera, you can record movies and take photos. There are 3 modes of taking photos: “Normal Shooting”, “Continuous Shooting” and “Interval Shooting”. Recorded movies and photos are saved in the micro SD card. Each setting can be configured by the QBiC application software which runs on a smart phone. (Refer to the QBiC MS-1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL for detail.) RECORDING MOVIES ・The movie recording starts with a confirmation sound when the Recording Switch is pressed. The Recording LED turns red during the recording. 39 ・Press the [Recording Switch] again to stop the recording. The recording stops with a confirmation sound. The [Recording LED] turns off. TAKING PHOTOS (NORMAL SHOOTING: SINGLE MODE) ・Press the [Shutter Switch] to take photos. A photo is taken with a shutter sound. The [Recording LED] turns blue while recording a photo. TAKING PHOTOS (CONTINUOUS SHOOTING: BURST MODE) The camera continuously takes 10 photos when the [Shutter Switch] is pressed. Photos are recorded with shutter sounds. The [Recording LED] turns blue while recording photos. TAKING PHOTOS (INTERVAL SHOOTING: INTERVAL MODE) Press the [Shutter Switch] to take photos at set intervals. Each time a photo is taken, a shutter sound is heard. The [Recording LED] turns blue during the interval shooting. The power of the camera will go off automatically after the photo shooting until the next photo shooting when the interval time is set to 30 seconds or longer. PLAYBACK OF RECORDED FILES Photos and movies recorded on the micro SD card with the camera can be viewed on your computer. Also, they can be viewed on the Monitor wirelessly connected to the camera or viewed on a TV or projected by a projector using the HDMI cable. 44 VIEWING RECORDED FILES ON TV OR THROUGH PROJECTOR 1. Open the Interface Terminal Cover. 2. Connect the camera’s HDMI port to the HDMI input port of a TV or projector via the commercially available HDMI cable. (Use the HDMI cable with micro D connector.) 3. Press and hold (over 1second) the [Power Switch] to power on the camera. When the camera is powered on, the Live view is displayed on a TV or projector screen. 4. Press the [Power Switch] and the camera enters the Playback mode. 5. Select the photo file or movie file to be played from the thumbnail list with the [Power Switch]. 6. Press the [Recording Switch] to play the selected file. 7. Select the Thumbnail mode after the playback of the file is finished. Then press the Recording Switch to return to the Thumbnail mode. (Refer to the QBiC MS-1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL for detail.) VIEWING RECORDED FILES ON SMART PHONE With the [QBiC App] available from [App Store] or [Play Store] you can play recorded photo files and movie files on your smart phone. (Refer to the QBiC MS-1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL for detail.) 45 MASS STORAGE MODE This camera can be used as a storage device. Using this mode, you can transfer the data stored in the micro SD card to your computer. TURNING ON THE MASS STORAGE MODE 1. Open the Interface Terminal Cover. 2. With the camera powered off, connect the camera to your computer using the supplied USB cable. (Pay attention to the direction of the USB connector.) 3. Press the [Power Switch]. 4. The micro SD card inside the camera is recognized as a removable disk. A confirmation sound occurs and the menu appears on the screen of your computer. 5. Select the menu and operate. 6. Power off the camera. Remove the USB cable rom the camera and close the Interface Terminal Cover. *The camera also enters the Mass Storage mode when it is connected to a computer by the USB cable while it is turned on. * Make sure to close the cover correctly. Otherwise the waterproof performance may be deteriorated, causing damage to the camera. 46 OTHER FUNCTIONS *Refer to the QBIC MS-1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL for other functions. HOW TO FORCE THE CAMERA TO POWER OFF When there is a problem with the camera, restart the camera. In case that it is not possible to turn off the camera with normal procedure, you can turn off the camera by pressing the [Power Switch] for 10 seconds. This can be performed anytime, even when the camera is recording. RESETTING THE CAMERA You can reset the camera by pressing the [Recording Switch] and [WiFi Switch] together for 5 seconds while the camera is turned on. The [Power LED] flashes green and the camera returns to default. WATERPROOF PERFORMANCE This product is guaranteed to be practical waterproof (waterproof against water drops for a short period). However, we do not guarantee its waterproof performance in the following conditions: - The Interface Terminal Cover has not been closed properly. 47 - The rubber packing of the Interface Terminal Cover or the camera body has been damaged due to deterioration or an external impact. - The Interface Terminal Cover has been opened or closed in places where there is a lot of dust or under the rain or by dirty or wet hand. PERFORMANCE AND LIFETIME OF BUILT-INBATTERY A rechargeable lithium-polymer battery is used in this product. - The battery has its own life span.
