QStar gives archive hardware the appearance of a standard magnetic disk. With data mirrored continuously at a transaction level, both the primary and the secondary logical volumes are always exact duplicates. QStar Partner Solution Compliance Email Archive Solution Key Features Archive One modular e-mail archiving provides ease of installation and management as well as low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through its unique repository architecture and industry standard interfaces with your existing messaging and storage investment. • Integration & API For integration with Enterprise Content Management / Records Management, Systems Management and Compliance applications, the 'Integration Framework' enables the building of relevant interfaces. The Archive One API allows additional third party applications to make use of the Archive One repositories, such as for Lotus Notes / Domino, file archiving, SMTP email and anti-spam applications • Multiple Repositories The repository architecture of Archive One provides the benefits of reduced back-up and administration requirements when compared with many email archiving models, with no compromise in search, retrieval or management performance. • ILM Integration An Information Lifecycle Management approach to archival storage is supported through interfaces to storage management software, seamlessly offering migration of repositories across media over time. • Archiving Criteria Archive One is designed to run multiple policies so that groups of users, mailboxes and PST files can each be treated according to the requirements of each department or section. • PST Archive One has the option to include PST files in the archiving system.
