Position the mirror in a suitable location. 2. Carefully mark the position of the product using a soft pencil. 3. Remove the mirror, and mark the positions of the two mounting points. 4. Using a 10mm masonry drill, drill the holes in the marked positions to a depth of 50mm. If drilling through tiles, use a ceramic drill bit. 5. Insert the wall-plugs level with the surface of the wall. If fitting to a tiled surface, wall plugs should be inserted below the surface of the tile to avoid cracking Ensure that the correct wall fixings are used for the type of surface that is being drilled into. 6. Screw the wall hooks into the wall plugs. 7. Hang the mirror on the wall hooks. Mirror is suitable for installation in Zone 2 and Outside zones. 2 75cm INTRODUCTION...............................................................................1 75cm CONTENTS 2 2 1 Please retain this leaflet for future reference. 225cm 60cm radius PACK CONTENTS Before assembling and operating the Battery Mirror, please check that the contents are complete. Included in the package: - Battery Powered Mirror - Removable Battery Pack - Battery Charger - Fixings (2x 10mm wall plugs, 2x 50mm hook screws) -1- ZONE ZONE 1 2 Refers to the area above the bath or shower up to a height of 2.25 metres and requires a minimum rating of IPX4 (splash-proof). Covers an area 0.6 metres wide immediately next to, and all round zone 1. Wash basins should also be treated as zone 2. The minimum rating here is IPX4. -2- 2 OUTSIDE ZONES Has no special requirements, unless water jets are likely to be used for cleaning purposes. Battery Mirror RECHARGING BATTERY PACK 1 2 5 6 - For optimum performance, battery pack needs to be fully drained and recharged three times. - Gently push the battery pack into the mirror until you hear a click. - Release pressure on the battery pack and allow it to pop out. - To recharge the battery, plug the supplied charger into the larger port located on the end of the battery pack. - Only recharge the battery pack using the supplied charger, and never charge in the bathroom. - Once the red LED has turned off, the battery pack is recharged and ready to be returned to the mirror. - Reattach the battery pack to the mirror by reinserting the wire into the smaller port on the back of the battery pack. 3 4 7 8 - Gently remove the battery pack from the mirror. - Disconnect the battery pack from the mirror by gently removing the connection from the end of the battery pack. - When the red LED turns off and the battery is fully charged, gently reinsert the battery pack into its housing and push until you hear a click. - Close the flap to protect the battery pack. - To turn the mirror on / off, press the button located on the bottom of the mirror. - Locate the flap on the side of the mirror and lift to reveal the battery pack. -3- -4- Battery Mirror TROUBLESHOOTING SERVICE All of our products are tested for quality, function and electronic safety before delivery. What do the LEDs mean? The battery pack incorporates three LEDs: white, red and green. LEDs only light when the battery pack is plugged into the mains White LED on: Circuitry functioning correctly White LED off: Circuitry not functioning correctly - contact supplier Red LED on: Red LED off: Battery charging Battery fully charged If you require any further information, or you have questions or concerns about using our products, please contact your local specialist dealer. TECHNICAL INFORMATION Adapter: 240v input, 13v output LED: 12 x 0.12 watts = 1.44 watts (Oliver) 14 x 0.12 watts = 1.68 watts (Vinni) 14 x 0.12 watts = 1.68 watts (Henry) Size: 60 x 45cm (Oliver) 70 x 50cm (Vinni) 50 x 80cm (Henry) Article Number: 73106300 (Oliver) 73106400 (Vinni) 73106500 (Henry) Green LED on: Transformer functioning correctly Green LED off: Transformer not functioning correctly - contact supplier The battery pack isn’t lasting very long - On a full recharge, the mirror can be illuminated for 25-30 hours. - For optimum performance and maximum longeivity, the battery pack needs to be fully discharged and recharged three times. - Batteries do not have an infinite lifespan. Therefore, after a number of recharges it may be necessary to replace the rechargable batteries within the battery pack. To do so, remove the battery pack from the mirror as shown on the previous page. Open the casing by unclipping the catches on both sides of the casing at the position of the arrow below. Remove the six batteries and replace them with fresh rechargable batteries. Replace the casing, and reattach the battery pack to the mirror. DISPOSAL With an environmentally-friendly disposal, you can prevent environmental contamination. Please check on how to dispose of used electronic devices and exhausted batteries in accordance with local regulations. Please recycle packaging where possible.
