The USB 3.0 ports can not only transfer data with up to 5 Gbit/s, but also charge multiple mobile devices at the same time. Without PC you can use IB-HUB1405 as a “standalone” charging station. The hub supports the battery charging standard BC 1.2 and can identify the connected mobile devices of all different brands (Tablets and smart phones) to charge them with the corresponding highest speed (up to 2.1 A, 5 V). Connected to a running PC via USB 3.0 cable the Hub can charge smart phones of all brands. Without PC it can only charge Android® smart phones. The IB-HUB1405 has a built in over current protection and supports Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 10; MAC OS; Linux.
