Quick Operation Guide for e-Cube Main Menu /Function Key: : Please turn to the side with screw hole facing you. In this orientation, the side with the Power Switch will be facing down as the figure shown (see the bottom side). There are four function keys. 1. Up(marked as ↑) , 2. Down(marked as ↓), 3. Confirm/Enter(marked as “O”), 4. Exit(marked “X”), 1. Push  to enter the Main Menu 4. Exit X 1. Up : Return to previous step/selection 3. Enter O: Enter sub-menu or confirm a selection 2. Down : Proceed to next step Power Switch Figure 1 1 Getting Started: 1. Push the Power Switch to turn on the e-Cube. 2. Push and  together to enter the Main Menu 3. You can push  or  to select games. See the Table 2. Games for the details. 4. Push “O” to select function. means new games. Push O   to enter sleeping mode . Push O    to select sound 5. 6. . (push O to disable/enable sound). Push “O” to confirm selection. or enter sub-menu (if there’s sub-menu for that selection). Push Exit to exit Main Menu or cancel. Return to the Status Mode. Corresponding Buttons: Corresponding buttons and light Direction of buttons Games: Shrew, Turntable, Corresponding, Memory Games: Jigsaw, Noughts & Crosses, Rubik’s Cube, Landmine 2 Function Buttons LED Function Description New game To start a new game as previous selection Sound To turn on/ off sound. Sleeping If no buttons are pushed in 3 minutes, the e-Cube will go to sleeping pattern. Longer push on any of the four buttons at the center will wake up the e-Cube. When the e-Cube is played with sound, it implies “bye-bye” to remind the player to shut down the game in the event of it being left on Special Operation: LED Function 2 players (Noughts & Crosses) Description When playing Noughts & Crosses, you can choose to play by 2 players or 1 person + e-Cube. 1 player + e-Cube (Noughts & Crosses) Cancel (Rubik’s cube, Corresponding, Jigsaw) While playing a game, push  and  together simultaneously to return to the previous step. Redo (Rubik’s cube, Corresponding, Jigsaw) While playing a game, push  and  together simultaneously to regain the action just cancelled. Replay (Memory) After the question is played, push simultaneously to repeat the question. 3  and  Table 2: Games LED Game/Function Target and Method SET Select game or function Rubik’s Cube Target: Arrange same color displayed on each side Method: Push “Up” or “Down” button on each row until all the LED lights on each side are the same color. Corresponding Target: Light all buttons on each side Method: If one button is lit, the 4 buttons (up/down/left/right) around it will be put out. Repeat until all the buttons on each side are lit. Landmine Target: Push the button you want to bet. If it is a landmine, you lose. Method: Max 6 persons can play. Each person push one butoon on one side. Keeping playing it until one person push a landmine. Display Target: e-Cube displays all the games it can play automatically. Note: No sleeping pattern under this function. Jigsaw Target: To arrange all the same color onto one side. Method: Push any button of the light to move it forward until all the colors are the same. Lighting Target: e-Cube runs the lighting automatically. Shrew Target: Push the button beside the lit color at random Turntable Target: Push the button you want to bet, if it lights up you win. Method: Max 6 persons can play. Each person push one button on one side. Memory Target and Method: Memorize the sequence of different lights and push them again in the same order. Noughts & Crosses Target: Played by 2 players. The one completing one row in same color wins. Method: Take turns to push the button until the game is over. Illumination Target: All LED lights are on for illumination. Note: NO sleeping pattern under this function. 4
