Important Notices If you use the BT-120ADS only for A2DP (Stereo) Bluetooth, you don’t need this software because the BT-120ADS is automatically to become the default sound device without any software required. This Bluesoleil software is intended to support Bluetooth functions beyond just A2DP (Stereo) application. Please refer to IVT’s website for detailed User’s Guide and any support issues at http://www.ivtcorporation.com .

Install Bluesoleil software on Windows XP or 2000 English
NOTE: please uninstall other Bluetooth software before install Bluesoleil, especially from WidComm. 1.
DONOT plug your BT-120ADS into your PC/NB before install the

Place Bluesoleil CD, or download the software from website and

execute it (It is recommended to uninstall, without BT-120ADS plugged in, older version before install newer one. There is no upgrade on installation.) 3.
Follow the installation instructions to complete the installation. (PC/NB will re-start to activate the Bluesoleil.)
RECOMMENDED: Remove the Bluesoleil from Startup list so that it will not be automatically started when system boots up. Just run or execute the Bluesoleil when you need it.
Run Bluesoleil for Skype 1.
Execute the Bluesoleil software on Windows XP or 2000

Follow the instruction to plug into BT-120ADS.

Power on your AirLive Bluetooth Stereo headset or Reciver.

Click on (A) the bright center of the pictorial Sun to search

You should find a stereo headset on the surrounding trail matches your headset (with MAC or BD address or just a name of “Stereo headset”) and you may see other Bluetooth devices nearby as well.
Note: The MAC address of BT-120ADS may be found inside the left cushion of ear cup. Other models may be found inside battery cover, or back of the devices.

You may click the (A) to stop searching or let it run out of searching time.

Click on the stereo headset to activate a connection and available services.

You will see the icons of available services are highlighted and framed.

For BT-120HP, you will see Bluetooth AV Service speaker for stereo music and Bluetooth Headset Service headset for Skype or Mono Audio-MIC headset application

Click Bluetooth Headset Service. The LED will be blinking and you will hear ring tones on the headset to indicate a connection established.

On the headset, click on the phone pick up bottom (same as power bottom on BT-120HP.)

Go ahead to use Skype as usual. Bluetooth headset.

NOTE: When using Skype, if you do not hear any voice you may need to check on “Control Panel”Æ”Sounds and Audio Devices”Æ”Audio” to check if Windows has switched your Sound device to Bluetooth. If not, you need to switch to BT-120ADS – “Bluetooth AV/HS”.

Run Bluesoleil for A2DP Stereo Bluetooth Follow the step 1-9 in above section Run Bluesoleil for Skype

Click Bluetooth AV Service. The LED will be blinking to indicate a connection established. On BT-120HP, you will hear a short music played for connection.

Go ahead and play your favorite music on PC/NB
Switching Between AV and Headset Mode The BT-120ADS can function in 2 different Audio Mode:
AV Mode: When the BT-120ADS is in AV mode, you will be able to hear Hi-Fi Stereo sound. However, the Microphone will not function in this mode. It is recommended that you use this mode when listening to music. On the IVT utility, the AV Mode is represented by the Speaker icon.
Headset Mode: When the BT-120ADS is in Headset Mode, you will be able to listen and record at the same time. However, the sound quality is reduced. It is recommended that you use this mode for applications that require microphone input, such as Skype. On the IVT utility, the Hi-Quality Mode is represented by the Headset icon. Please follow the procedure below to switch between 2 modes: 1.
Close all music listening programs such as Windows Media Player.

Run IVT BlueSoleil program. You can double click on the tray icon or you can run it from Start -> All Programs -> IVT BlueSoleil-> BlueDoleil.

Please note that you can not just click on the AV or Headset Icons to change modes. Otherwise, you will get the following error message.

Please Right click on the device icon and click on menu item Disconnect. Select the menu item Bluetooth AV Service (or Bluetooth Headset Service)

A pop-up message asks you to confirm the disconnection. Click on Yes to continue.

Now you can click on the AV or Headset icon to connect. Or, you can right click on the device and click on menu item connect. Select either Bluetooth AV Service or Bluetooth Headset Service.
