QUICK START GUIDE FOR
HDMI ADAPTER AND a streaming device via component output Connect the cables this way: 1. Existing HDMI cable: Reconnect your existing HDMI cable so that it connects the HDMI-Out output on your set-top box to the HDMI-In input on the HDMI Adapter. 2. Supplied HDMI cable: Connect the supplied HDMI cable from the HDMI-Out output on the HDMI Adapter to the HDMI-In input on your TV. 3. Component cable (not supplied): Connect a component cable set (red/green/blue video and red/white audio cables) from the Component-Out and the Audio-Out outputs on the HDMI Adapter to the Component-In and Audio-In inputs on your streaming device. 4. USB power: Power the HDMI Adapter by connecting the supplied USB cable from the USB port on the HDMI Adapter to any nearby available USB port. You might find one on the back of your set-top box, or on the back of your TV.
