Quick start guide Breast pump PRIOR TO EACH USE: 1) Assemble the splitter. 2) Unscrew the s-bottle’s cap and teat. 3) Place the milk valve in the bottle and screw the splitter onto the S-bottle. 4) Attach the milk tube to the front of the splitter at ‘milk’. 5) Attach the air tube to the top of the splitter at ‘air’. 6) Attach the outer shell to the milk tube. 7) Position the S-bottle on the pump. 8) Select the correct size of inner shell and click it into the outer shell. 9) Attach the adapter to the pump and plug it into an outlet or insert 4 AA batteries into the base of the pump. 10) Insert the shell into your bra. 11) Press start ‘ ‘. 12) Select suction setting. 13) Press ‘start’ again to commence phase 1 of the expressing session. 14) Press on the let-down reflex button ‘ ‘ to shorten or lengthen phase 1 (automatically set to 3 minutes phase 1, then phase 2). AFTER EACH USE: 1) Press the start button ‘ ‘ for a few seconds to end the expressing session. 2) Remove the inner shell from the outer shell and wash it. 3) Disconnect the milk tube from the S-bottle. Keep the outer shell connected to the milk tube and use it as a funnel to flush out the milk tube under running water. Rinse with soap and then with clean water. 4) Sterilise the parts 1x a day. 5) Immediately start feeding with the S-bottle or store your breast milk in the refrigerator or freezer. TIPS: • For more suction, replace the S-bottle valve with the blue closed valve included with the breast pump. • Use Difrax storage containers or bags to store your breast milk in the freezer. • You can also express your breast milk straight into the Difrax storage containers.
