LW2004AC1 Series ADD-ON CAMERA Quick Start Guide SIMPLY AWARE ™ Contents: Power Adaptor TIP Before you install the camera, carefully plan where and how it will be positioned, and where you will route the cable that connects the camera to the power adaptor. Camera Stand Avoid installing in a location which requires the wireless signal to pass through cement, concrete and metal structures. This will reduce the transmission range. Powering up the Camera 1. Screw the camera stand into the stand mounting hole at the back of the camera, and place the camera on a flat surface. 2. Connect the AC power connector from the power adapter into the AC adapter port on the side of the camera. 3. Plug the power adapter into a power outlet. 4. Press and hold the power button at the top of the camera for 3 seconds to power on the camera. Power Adapter NOTE: • Only use the included power adapter to power the camera(s). Power Outlet AC Adapter Port Camera Pairing up Cameras Monitor (not included) 1. Make sure the camera you would like to pair up is powered on. 2. Press the MENU button on the monitor to enter the menu screen. 3. Press the   buttons until the PAIRING icon is highlighted and press OK. 4. Select the channel you wish to pair up the camera to by pressing the 2   buttons. 3 5. Press OK. 6. Press and hold the PAIR button on the side of the camera until the monitor displays “Device Found” indicating that the camera has been successfully paired with the monitor. 4 FOR MORE INFORMATION: www.lorextechnology.com 6 NOTE: • The monitor can connect to up to 4 cameras. 5 Camera TIPS • The camera and monitor should be around 1ft. apart during the pair up process. • Immediately after successful pairing, move the camera and monitor apart to avoid speaker feedback.
