Let’s get started
(Standard Broadband) Follow these simple steps to connect your router: Connect one end of the grey cable (DSL cable) to the grey port on your router and the other end to the smaller hole on the little white matchbox like DSL microfilter. Use the white cable with the yellow plugs to connect your PC or any other non-WiFi enabled devices to any one of the yellow (Ethernet) ports on the rear of your router. If you have more than one wired device you will need to purchase additional cables. Connect your telephone (optional) to the phone port on the DSL microfilter and plug into the telephone socket on the wall. Note: Your wall socket may already have a built in filter for fibre. Plug the black power adaptor lead into the black power socket on the back of your router and plug the adaptor into a mains socket and press the power button on the rear of the router. Check that the Power light on the top of the router is lit and wait a few minutes for the Internet light to come on solid green.

(Fibre Broadband) Follow these simple steps to connect your router: If your phone line has only one socket for a plug then connect one end of the grey cable (DSL cable) to the grey port on your router and the other end to the smaller hole on the little white matchbox like DSL microfilter.
If it has two sockets one above the other then plug the grey cable directly into the top hole without the DSL microfilter.

Common FAQ’s 1
I’m having problems connecting: • Check your broadband connection is set up correctly following steps on the ‘Get Connected’ section • Check the Power light is green, if not please check your Power supply is plugged in • Check your WiFi is turned on if you are connecting wirelessly • Check you’ve entered your WiFi card details correctly If you are still experiencing problems connecting please call us on 03330 112 321
2
Can I connect more than one computer? Yes, all of our current routers support multiple devices consecutively. These can be connected either wirelessly or directly using an Ethernet cable.
3
What happens in my first 14 days online? As you have a new connection with us your broadband will enter a ‘Line Stabilisation Period’. This simply means for the next 14 days we’ll test your line to ensure you get the best connection possible. During this period your speed may vary but don’t worry this is normal and your router might even restart itself a few times too but you’ll reconnect automatically after a few minutes – you won’t have to do anything.

Common FAQ’s 4
Where should I put my router to get the best signal? • Keep it central - try to place the router in the most central part of your home • Avoid the kitchen - microwaves interfere with your WiFi signal and metal objects such as the fridge absorb signal • Avoid putting your router near thick walls • Try to place the router in a high place such as a shelf or wall mounted for better signal • Don’t put your router somewhere with a lot of people - you will notice your WiFi signal drop in a room with a lot of people
5
Do you provide static IP addresses? Yes for an additional cost of £1.50 per month. If you would like to add this feature to your package please contact us.
6
How is my data usage calculated? Our data usage works on a pro rata basis, if you go live part way through the month then you will have your data allowance until the last day of that month. Your usage allowance is renewed on the 1st of every month.
