Quick start instructions for Windows
1. Hardware installation Connect the IP security camera with the supplied LAN cable and plug it into the left LAN socket of the PoE adapter.
Connect the IP security camera to your router using the supplied network cable.

2. Software installation Install “Supra IPCam“ software on your computer using the supplied CD.
3. Configuring the IP security camera In the program supra IPCam Config, click the “Start search” option. Once the camera is found and displayed, please check whether a new update is available for your camera. To do so, click “Info” and select “Update. Perform all the suggested updates. Once the update has successfully installed, please wait until your camera restarts. At this point, you can click “Browser” to directly access the camera. For this, use the “admin” user name without a password. On p.53, you will find an explanation of how to change the password. To continue setting up the camera, select the “Setup” option.

4. Implement setup assistant Select the second menu item “Installation with supra space” in the setup wizard.
5. Activate IP security camera Enter www.supra-space.de in your Browser and log in.

6. Download smartphone app Use App Store or Google play to download the app “Maginon IPC-Viewer“ for your Smartphone or your Tablet PC and install app.
7. Setting up IP security camera in app Use symbol to log onto supra space. Use the logon information used in the Setup Assistant. After logging on, the camera is immediately available from a list under the chosen camera name. Select it from the display in order to view the camera image.

2. Determine IP address of your router First you require the local IP address of your router. In order to determine the IP address of the router on your Mac computer, click on menu bar . Select “System settings” and then “Network”. The below window appears.
Select the current network connection from the window. This is indicated by the preceding green point ( in this case “WLAN”). Next open “Further Options”.
Change to page “TCP/IP“. The local IP address of your router is listed behind “Router“. The address in the below example is 192.168.16.1. AFTER SALES SUPPORT

Note down this local IP address.
3. Determine IP address of IP security camera Open Internet Browser “Safari“ and enter the previously determined IP address of the router.
The configuration page of the router opens.

Log on to the router. The log-on information can be found in the Operating Instructions of your router. Look through the settings for an option with the name “DHCP table“ or “DHCP reservation”. All devices connected to the router are listed here. The name of the list can differ from one router to the next. Consequently also check the Operating Instructions of your router. In the adjacent example, the IP security camera is listed as “”ipcam_006E060241B6“. Next to it is the local IP address of the IP security camera (here: 192.168.1.113).

4. Setting up the supra space Open the Internet browser “Safari” and enter the previously determined IP address of the camera. The configuration page of the camera opens. Log on with the user name “admin” and without a password. Select “Settings”. First click the supra space symbol and then “Create new account”.
Complete the data (user name, password, e-mail).
Click “Save” and restart the camera.

2. Downloading the smartphone app Use the App Store or Google play to download the app “Maginon IPC-Viewer” for your smartphone or tablet PC and install the app.
3. Setting up the IP security camera in the app Use the (+) symbol to start the setup utility for your IP security camera. After a few seconds, the IP security cameras found on your network will appear. Push the camera you would like to set up.

In the next step, select whether you have an existing supra space account (“Login”) or whether you would like to create a new account (“Register”). Then enter a name for the camera and configure the wireless settings. If you would like to connect your camera with your router in a European country, please set the region from North America (channel 1 – 11) to Europe (channel 1 – 13) after selecting your router. Click “Save” to complete setup. Once the camera has been configured, please wait two minutes for the camera to restart. You can now use the IP security camera.
