The powerhouse of the range – the QuietAir 150 is ideal for kitchens and larger rooms whilst still achieving a low noise level for its size of only 35dB(A). Operated by a range of control options including basic switching, timer, humidity and variable speed control. This allows the operator to manually adjust the speed of the fan anywhere between the lower and higher speeds.

The QuietAir range offers some very useful features including the innovative Room Refresh/ Interval Timer which can be used for programmable ventilation every 8, 12 or 24 hours. Another useful feature of the QuietAir is the optional Delay Start operation which avoids unnecessary use – ideal for those short visits during the night.

The QuietAir 100 was first awarded the QuietMark mark of approval by the Noise Abatement Society in 2012 and the QuietAir 120 was recently awarded this accreditation for the newly acclaimed kitchen category. Research has shown that homeowners and tenants are becoming more aware of the noise output of their fans, placing noise level high up on their selection criteria.

QuietAir fans are versatile in their placement in that they can be installed on the wall or in the ceiling and because they are all IP45 rated they are suitable for positioning within Zone 1 of a bathroom (with an RCD). QuietAir fans build up excellent pressure due to the high efficiency impeller making them suitable for long duct runs. This ensures extraction rates are achieved whilst still being quiet and using low energy.

The range covers the entire spectrum of extraction levels from 20.8 to 72 litres per second therefore meeting all intermittent extract rates as set out in Approved Document F of the Building Regulations. By using exceptionally low energy they help to reduce our carbon emissions but also save on those ever increasing energy bills.

Airflow’s intelligent humidity sensor offers the additional feature of being able to Conventional Humidity On recognize a rapid increase in humidity and activates the boost speed before the QuietAir HT On pre-set value is reached so that preventive ventilation commences.
