Rack Mounting Kit for 19-inch Racks RM-36 RM Kit for Installation of One 19-inch Unit KIT CONTENTS • Two short brackets • Six flat-headed screws • Four 5 mm Philips screws EQUIPMENT NEEDED • A 3 mm Philips screwdriver INSTALLATION Warning Disconnect all cables including the power cord from the unit before performing the installation procedures. To install one unit in the ETSI-type 19-inch racks: 1. Fasten the RM-36 kit brackets to the side panels of the unit (see Figure 1). 2. Place the unit in the rack and fasten the brackets to the side rails of the rack using two screws on each side (not included in the kit). Figure 1. Fasten the RM-36 kit brackets to the side panels of the unit (see Figure 2). 2. Place the unit in the rack and fasten the brackets to the side rails of the rack using two screws on each side (not included in the kit). Figure 2.
