Patent(s) Pending Rack Sliding Seat Installation Instructions Kit P/N: 106-2183 Kit Contents Kit Contents: (1) Shelf (1) Seat Assembly (2) Rear Bracket (Left & Right) Front Mounting Hardware: (1) Retainer Plate (Right) (1) 10-32 x .312 Flat Head Screw Rear Mounting Hardware: (6) 8-32 x .500 Pan Head Screw (2) Mounting Plate (4) 8-32 x .375 Flat Head Screw (4) 8-32 Keps Nut Rack Mount 8x: (8) 10-32 x .500 Pan Head Screw (8) 12-24 x .500 Pan Head Screw (8) 12-24 x Square Nut (8) 12-24 x Cage Nut Rack Hole Type Hardware Used Square Install the “Black” Cage Nuts in the appropriate square holes. Attach the rails with the (larger) 12-24 screws. Threaded Use the appropriate screw: (larger) 12-24 or (smaller) 10-32. Non-Threaded Use the (larger) 12-24 Screws and the square nuts. Installation Instructions Step 1. Attach Rear Brackets: Temporarily remove Seat Assembly from Shelf. Attach the Rear Brackets to the shelf using included 8-32 flat head screws and keps nuts. Ensure they are set to the required "Mounting Depth". Mounting Depth (19.50" to 30.75") (4) 8-32 x .375 Flat Head Screw (4) 8-32 Keps Nut Rear Bracket Shelf Page 2 Installation Instructions Step 2. Determine U-Space Height: Then select the appropriate U-space for the Shelf by putting the bottom of the shelf at 19.25 to 21.25 inches from the floor. 19.25-21.25 Step 3. Attach shelf to the rack: Attach the front and rear of the rails to the 4Post rack as shown below using supplied 8-32 and 10-32 Pan Head Screws on each side. Tighten Screws. Install Retainer: Remove two of the screws that were installed in Step 3. Attach the Retaining Plate as shown below, then tighten the screws. Retaining Plate (2) 10-32 x .500 Pan Head Screw Page 4 Installation Instructions Step 6. Adjust seat height: Remove the (4) installed 10-32 Flat Head Screws. Adjust for the appropriate height for the rubber feet to touch the floor when the seat is level. Reinstall the (4) 10-32 Flat Head Screws.
