Mounting / Placement of the RADIO DRIVER
Screw-mounting
For easier use, the RADIO DRIVER can be installed: - mounted on the wall with screws and pegs at an approximate height of 1.5 m,
Mount the base with screws and pegs suited to the support or on a flush-mounted box, then close and lock the unit.
- on a support placed on an item of furniture or a shelf. Separate the unit from its base by unlocking the casing.
Fitting to the base Position the unit on its base and lock it.
Starting up When you turn the unit on for the first time, you will need to set the time. Remove the battery cover.

Menu 3 is only accessible when the RADIO DRIVER is associated with a TYWATT RADIO or with the consumption indication function of a PLC RADIO GP8 (see menu R).

After menu 1 has been configured, the unit returns to the choice of menus. To exit the configuration, turn the knob to the right.

Advanced configurations (menu 2) Press button 2.
If there is a difference between the temperature noted (thermometer) and the temperature measured and displayed by the unit, function 2-02 modifies the way the probe takes measurements so as to compensate for this difference.
Correction of the measured temperature.
To change the various settings, press the + or buttons, then press OK to confirm the change and go to the next setting. Modification authorized for the program Modification authorization for the user

Correction possible from -5°C to +5°C in increments of 0.1°C. Press the + or - buttons to make changes, and confirm with the OK button.
E.g. If the temperature displayed by the unit is 19°C and the temperature measured is 20°C, add 1°C to the display and confirm by pressing OK.
Economy (by default) Choice of the Pilot Wire order* during the Economy mode.

Whatever the choice, the screen will display the symbol.

Advanced configurations (menu 2)
In the 2-06 configuration, the tariff reduction mode can never be lower than parameter 2.03 (see table):
With the tempo rate Only with a PLC RADIO GP8 The price programming is used to select a lower temperature (economy) in periods when electricity is most expensive (e.g. peak hours, red day).

Tariff reduction

The electronic meter informs the PLC RADIO GP8 of the current price using the teleinfo line. Periods of tariff reduction can be programmed on your electronic meter (refer to the meter’s instructions).

Radio association (menu R) This menu lets you associate all the installation’s radio products (transmitters and receivers) with the RADIO DRIVER.

Consumption indicator
Press on + or - to display 1 flashing. Confirm on the RADIO TYWATT. Check on the RADIO DRIVER that the display 1 is no longer flashing. The RADIO DRIVER and the RADIO TYWATT are associated. - If you do not have any associated PLC RADIO GP8: press the OK button 3 times to display “zone rAd 1” (see the section on “Associating wireless receivers”). - If you have an associated PLC RADIO GP8: refer to the PLC RADIO GP8 installation guide.

Radio association (menu R) Associating wireless receivers with the RADIO DRIVER To associate the radio receivers, press on OK as many times as needed to display the zone to associate (e.g. “zone rAd1”). On the receiver, press the button until the LED flashes (~3 seconds). To associate a Radio D30 wireless/infrared gateway, press the MODE button for 3 seconds.
Option configuration (menu 3) Menus 3-12 to 3-18 can only be accessed if RADIO DRIVER is associated with a RADIO TYWATT or with a PLC RADIO GP8 (and its counting function). To access the display of consumption, heating, DHW and other uses, you must declare the number of CTs (current transformers, ref. 6330004) associated with the RADIO TYWATT option. On RADIO DRIVER, at the “zone rAd1” screen, press the i button.
3-13 to 3-18 Cost per Kwh (incl. tax)
Check that the receiver’s LED is no longer flashing. The receiver is associated with zone 1 of the RADIO DRIVER.
The price displayed is the price per kWh (excl. subscription) expressed in euros including taxes (price including municipal and regional taxes and VAT (average of 30%).
Restart the procedure for all the receivers to be associated with zone 1. Press OK to move to the next zone.
For further information, contact your electricity provider.
Exit the radio association menu To quit the radio association menu, turn the knob to the right.

Removing radio associations
Configurations 3-13 to 3-18 let you modify costs according to your subscription. Subscription option
To cancel all radio associations, turn the knob to then hold the i button down for 5 seconds.

IMPORTANT: the consumption value that you can read on the digital screen is a non-contractual indication and cannot be substituted with the consumption value mentioned on your electricity bill.
Then press the OK button to confirm the reset.
After menu 3 has been configured, the unit returns to the choice of menus. To exit the configuration, turn the knob to the right.

Return to the factory configuration Returning to the factory configuration is possible for each of the menus. Turn the knob to , then press and hold the i button for 5 seconds.
Radio test Turn the knob to , then hold the 2nd button (from the top) down for 5 seconds until tESt appears.
5 sec. Press the button of the menu you wish to reset, and hold the button for 5 seconds (example for menu 1).
The receiver LED flashes each time it receives the frames. If this happens, radio transmission is occurring correctly. Turn the knob to exit the tESt mode. Then press the OK button to confirm the reset.
If this does not occur, move your transmitter.
Follow the same steps for the other menus. To exit this mode, turn the knob to the right.

Troubleshooting Nothing is displayed on the room unit screen. There is no power supply. Check the batteries.

The symbol flashes. A fault has been detected in the system. Press the button to consult the fault or faults. The receiver does not accept orders from the transmitter. • Check the transmission by performing a radio test. • Move your transmitter if necessary. • Repeat the radio-controlled association of the receiver with the RADIO DRIVER. The indication is displayed. The batteries are low. Change the batteries, making sure they are the right way round. You wish to associate a home automation feature and the screen displays ----. You have reached the maximum number of functions to associate. The unit displays: dEF7. Communication fault with the electronic meter. Check the connection with the meter. The unit displays: dEF and a number other than dEF 7. There is a fault on the unit that requires it to be returned to our after-sales service. Contact our customer service department.
