(ICS) formed in mid-2002 to provide leading technology solutions to the transport industry. The founding members of the company have all come from a railway and security background totalling some 100 years experience in practical - design, installation, maintenance and management of security and railway infrastructure. Initial Concept Solutions are dedicated specialists to the more demanding requirements and standards in this field, and spent three years developing a sophisticated on-board train security system that is currently in use in and around the London area. In 2004 we expanded into providing a wider range of products outside the railway industry and to introduce our systems to a much more widespread customer market. W E S U P P LY Mobile CCTV systems that can be used onboard Trains, Buses and other commercial vehicles. Our staff are highly experienced in the design, fitting and maintenance of these systems. We strive to ensure that the products we supply are of the highest quality, whilst provided at competitive prices. By working directly with the manufacturers of these systems we feel we can offer a unique service, providing tailored solutions based on the customer requirments OUR POLICES We feel high standards are very important and demand the very same from all our suppliers. In line with ISO 9000 directives we seek to continually improve and monitor our standards and procedures. We will always try to provide accurate, fair and complete pricing. To this end we have introduced a standard pricing structure to ensure consistent and accurate pricing of our products and services. We do not condone ‘what can we get away with’ pricing and our quotations will always reflect the actual equipment and services provided, with due discounts for quantity orders. We take pride in being reliable and friendly in our day-to-day dealings with our customers and always aim to develop a trusting long term relationship with them. Film Actor/Presenter Michael Palin promoting the ICS onboard Train security system. At ICS, we believe it is important to develop a good working relationship with our customers at every level. Only in this way can we consider, discuss and develop the customer’s requirements in the details needed to provide the level of service we always aim to achieve. Free Quotations are available, we have representatives that are based in: Cardiff, Carmarthen, London and Manchester. Copyright Initial Concept Solutions Ltd. All Rights Reserved. The ICS MDVR-E8/16 is specifically designed for public and commercial transport applications onboard rolling stock. Designed to conform to BS EN 50121-3-2:2000 and EN 61371 (rail) standards with an anodised aluminium enclosure and aerospace grade suspension bushes, the ICS-MDVR-E8/16 can withstand prolonged exposure to the vibration and shock that is typical of road and rail transportation. In addition, the use of rugged multi pin automotive connectors provides good quality connections even with continuous vibration and allows quick and easy removal / installation. All user connections and controls are performed on the front panel using a laptop or via a network. Status indicators are easily visible for checking system functionality during “Pre-driver’s check” and are located behind a strong acrylic clear window to avoid any tampering.
