● Refrigerant These products are filled with Isobutane refrigerant.
Isobutane (R 600a)
!
This refrigerant is inflammable, and products which use it can be identified as follows: - R 600a is displayed on the specifications plate - R 600a is displayed on the compressor - Inflammable symbol on the compressor
When undertaking repairs with Isobutane refrigerant the following precautions must be taken. In all cases: 1.- Make sure the place where the repairs are to be carried out is well-ventilated. 2.- Check that there are no naked flames, heat sources, or electric arcs. 3.- Do not smoke. 4.- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves. Do not wear clothes made of synthetic fibres. In the workshop: A specific area should be reserved, with full or half-height walls, to be used for working only with circuits containing isobutane. In the user’s home: For repair operations, use an area with an external exit. If necessary, the refrigerator must be moved. Do not carry out repairs in enclosed areas. Ventilate by opening doors and windows.

Features 2.- Features ● Holiday function Affects the refrigerator section. Activated and deactivated manually. When it is activated, the refrigerator automatically maintains a ‘special’ setting of +14°C. When the function is deactivated, it operates according to the previously selected setting. ● Super-Cooling Function Affects the refrigerator section. Activated manually. For a fixed time (6 hours), the fridge is cooled as much as possible, to +1 ºC, changing the temperature which had been set. After 6 hours, the indicator light goes out, and the fridge returns to the temperature which had been set previously. This function can also be interrupted manually before the 6-hour period is completed. The holiday function cancels the super-cooling function. ● Super-Freezing Function Affects the freezer section. Activated manually. The function maintains the freezer section at an ambient temperature of -33°C until it is manually deactivated or until the period of 52 hours is completed. If it is selected before 4 hours have passed since the last time it was defrosted, the defrosting cycle will not take place. If more than four hours have passed, a defrosting cycle takes place. After 52 hours, the indicator light goes out, and the fridge returns to the temperature which had been set previously. When the function is deactivated automatically or manually, a defrosting cycle takes place if more than 4 hours have passed since the last defrosting cycle and then it returns to normal operation. ● Refrigerator door open alarm Affects the refrigerator section. An acoustic and visual alarm (fixed red LED) is activated in the following two situations: - When the refrigerator door is open for more than two minutes. - When the refrigerator door is open for more than 10 seconds when the holiday function is activated.

Description of operation Cold barrier broken alarm Affects the freezer section. This is activated when the freezer section sensor detects a temperature warmer than -14 ºC. (Temp > -14 ºC) Cold barrier broken LED alarm
VAC
This alarm comprises a red LED and a buzzer. When the alarm is tripped, the LED flashes and the buzzer sounds (0.5 s ON and 0.5 s OFF) This situation is maintained until the temperature drops below - 14°C (e.g. -15 ºC, -16 ºC ...). The activation sequence for the buzzer is as follows: - 5 minutes ON, 10 minutes OFF until the alarm condition disappears or the superfreezing button is pressed. If, during an alarm situation, with the red LED flashing and the buzzer sounding, the super freezing button is pressed, the buzzer will stop (not completing the cycle of 5 minutes on/10 minutes off) and the alarm LED will stay on and not flash. The situation will continue until the cold barrier has been corrected. If, before reaching the temperature of - 14°C, the super freezing function is deactivated, the alarm LED will remain on (not flashing) and the buzzer will NOT sound. If in the 12 hours after an alarm, the alarm has not been corrected, the alarm procedure shall begin from the beginning (flashing LED and buzzer).

Description of operation Start-up When the appliance is connected to the mains, it performs the following sequence: 1.- The damper performs an open/close cycle. 2.- The control measures the temperature of the battery sensor: 2.1.- If the battery sensor temperature < 0°C. It performs a defrost cycle. 2.2- If the battery sensor temperature ≥ 0ºC. The fan and the compressor are activated. The damper is set to freezer mode. All the airflow is transferred to the freezer section. When the ambient temperature sensor in the freezer section detects a temperature of 0°C, the damper opens to let the air flow into the refrigerator section. Description of operation Freezer priority When the temperature detected by the sensor in the freezer section is higher than -14 ºC (-13 ºC, -12 ºC...), the card sends a set of pulses to the damper (close). All the airflow is transferred to the freezer section even though the refrigerator section still requires cold. Freezer section temperature ≥ -14 ºC
Damper: Freezer
Defrost function This is a priority function regarding the control of the two sections. To begin with, the first defrost cycle is performed after the compressor has been operating for eight hours. The time for subsequent defrost cycles depends on the duration of the previous defrost cycles. The defrost element is deactivated when the battery sensor detects a temperature of +18°C. The compressor stops for five minutes before starting up. Defrost ON Battery sensor temperature ≥ +18 ºC or Defrost ON 25 minutes Five minutes compressor OFF Compressor: ON Defrost : OFF
