● Birthday Surprise We will be celebrating Gaye McCance’s birthday on Saturday, March 21 from noon to 2 pm at Evergreen House on the second floor. If you would like to drop by, you are very welcome. For further details, please speak to Susan Kimm-Jones. ● St. Patrick’s Day Tea St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Tea on Saturday, March 14 at 2:00 pm in St. John’s Downstairs Lounge (220 West 8th Street, North Vancouver). Cost is $5.00 at the door and includes tea, coffee, sandwiches and baked treats. Please call the Church Office at 604-986-1151 to reserve a seat. Come for a fun celebration and hear the story of St. Patrick. ● Seniors Walk, Talk and Lunch Beginning on Thursday, March 26 the North Vancouver Regional Ministry of Anglican and Lutheran Churches will be offering a fun and engaging new program for seniors. On the last Thursday of every month there will be a guest Speaker at St Catherine’s Church presenting a topic of interest to seniors. After the lecture there will be a question and answer period. We will then walk to Edgemont Village and have lunch and fellowship together at a local eatery. The talk begins at 11:00am and the walk to lunch will be at about 12 noon. [email protected] or 604-986-1151. ● Neighbours of the Wilderness: ENERGY A discussion on the impact of energy related issues on our environment will be held from 1:00 to 3:00pm on March 7 at St. Catherine’s Church. This is the second of four ‘Neighbours in the Wilderness’ discussion sessions. The series is a joint initiative of North Vancouver Anglican and Lutheran Churches Spirituality and Eco-Justice working groups.
