These keyboard allow Videoswitch products to be controlled remotely via a single twisted pair connection, or via a transmission system that supports a 9600 baud data link. All types of keyboard support the same VXP-4 protocol and all are capable of controlling at least the basic switching functions of any product supporting this protocol. The various keyboard models differ in terms of how many cameras and monitors may be selected, how many different products may be addressed, and in product-specific functions such as replay control in the case of digital multiplexers. The preferred choices of keyboard for various Videoswitch products are listed below. These keyboards replicate the built-in keys of the product being controlled.
