The Remote Player 3 is a digital video and audio player designed for the playback of MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and high resolution still picture on TV and video monitors in commercial environments. The videos are stored and played back directly from solid state Compact Flash memory card.
Storage Medium : CompactFlash memory card - All sizes, for example: 64MB/128MB/256MB/512MB/1GB Remote Control and Communications : Utilising the Digital View Remote Transfer system content can be changed and managed remotely. • Modem - RS-232 port for dial-up modem • Wireless LAN - PCMCIA socket for wireless LAN connection • GPRS - RS-232 port for GPRS modem communication • Local Area Network (LAN) - Ethernet jack for 10/100Base-T connection.
Audio Output : Stereo audio (L/R) with volume control. Playback Modes : Loop Mode: Videos can be set to play in a continuous loop, individually or in sequence one after another. Auto Mode: Videos can be set to sleep mode or auto playback at power up. Program Mode: All tracks and scheduled functions can be programmed by DV Studio Advanced software which writes the MPEG 1/2, JPG files on to the CompactFlash card. Standard Playback : Standard player modes - play, stop, pause, repeat, previous track, next track, volume control, mute. Specific track or playlist select.

How it works The Remote Player 3™ is a powerful and flexible communications tool, designed for remote playback of MPEG 1&2 video and audio files, as well as still images. Remote content updates can be delivered via a fixed line or wireless communications link to the RemoteTransfer™ network and multiple players in one location synchronised using Digital View's CenterPoint™ file transfer proxy and synchronization master. Compressed digital media memory is held on compact flash cards and offers standard, looped or scheduled playback options. Outputs are NTSC or PAL compliant and the player is capable of driving any size of CRT, TFT LCD or plasma screen. Unlike DVD-based systems, its unique no moving parts (diskless & fan-less), self-cooling design is ideal for continual play and guarantees long lifespan. Its low power requirements are deliverable from existing lighting fixtures and unlike a pc-based application, the Remote Player 3™ non-Window's operating system requires no expensive software licenses.
