I. Assemble collar Measure your pet’s neck, mark the appropriate length, and cut off the excess collar. Seal the edge of the cut by taking a match or lighter along the frayed edge.

Important Note: Slide buckle also prevents collar from becoming loose around your dog’s neck.
Step 1: Thread slide buckle onto the collar first.
Step 2: Thread end of the collar up through the buckle. Important Note: Ribs must be facing up, otherwise collar will slip if it is not properly threaded.
Step 3: Thread excess collar through the slide buckle to hold it in place. This will allow you to adjust your pet’s collar as he grows.

Note: When cutting off excess collar, be sure to leave enough slack for your dog's growth.
II. Fill receiver ! Place the receiver on a flat surface with the filling valve facing upright. ! Hold refill canister upside down. ! Insert nozzle into refill valve. ! Apply firm pressure for approximately 10 seconds.

IV. Turning on your remote trainer & selecting the operating mode Mode 1. Automatic Shut-off - Receiver shuts-off automatically after 45 minutes of non-use to conserve battery power.

Slowly place two dots together for 3 seconds and then separate. Listen for one short beep.
Mode 2. Manual Shut-off - Receiver remains on until manually turned off. After placing the receiver in mode 1, within 5 seconds of the first beep, slowly place dots together again for three seconds and then separate. Listen for two short beeps.
Important Note: Ribs must be facing up, otherwise collar will slip if it is not properly threaded.

V. Operating the transmitter Program Correction Length Level 1 = Light correction (approx. 0.10 seconds). Level 2 = Medium correction (approx. 0.15 seconds). Level 3 = Strong correction (approx. 0.25 seconds). To Program Correction level, hold down the P button. After 2 seconds, the receiver will beep 1-3 times, indicating the present level. Continue to hold the P button down until the number of beeps equals the level of correction you want. After Level 3, the receiver will go back to Level 1.

Begin Training Please read the training manual thoroughly and review the video before beginning training.
