RAID 5 HDD Replacement Application Note Overview Below are the stipulations related to replacing failed Hard Drives on a RAID 5 array. Guidelines • Only replace the Hard Drives with identical models provided by Technical Support. • Never reinsert a previously failed hard drive. Warranty of the RAID will be null and void if the above recommendations are not being followed.
