Cable Trellis Kit: 113822 Typical Installation
Required Tools:
1. Determine where to install cable trellis. Measure and mark eyebolt locations at each end at desired height.
•
Drill & 9/16" drill bit (type depends on material)
•
7/16", 9/16", & 3/4" wrenches
•
Tool to cut cable to desired length
•
Safety glasses and gloves
•
Ladder or lift to reach height of trellis position
2. Drill a 9/16" hole in each support and install 1/2" eyebolts as shown. See note below regarding flatwashers. 3. Attach one end of turnbuckle to an eyebolt and adjust turnbuckle until it is fully open. 4. Secure one cable end to remaining eyebolt. Install cable clamps so saddle is against live cable. U-bolt portion of clamp is against dead cable end. See diagram below. 5. With assistance, attach free end of cable to turnbuckle. Have an assistant pull cable tight while clamps are insalled. 6. Adjust turnbuckle to tension cable.

ATTENTION: Use FAME09B flat washers when posts are metal. Use FAMF17B fenderwashers when mounting to wood posts. Install washers against the FALF43B locknuts. Revision date: 03.05.15
