ARTS Operational Data Model Restoring ARTS ODM 7 Database Backup File to SQL Server 2012 Using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Copyright © 2014 Association for Retail Technology Standards 1 Prerequisites • Copy the ARTS ODM 7 database file: ARTS_ODM_7_2013-03-06.bak to the default Microsoft SQL Server backup directory: c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup – • • NOTE: You can use a different directory. The sample scenario using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio assumes that the backup file will be restored from this default directory. Invoke Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Follow the GUI-based illustration. Pick the restore from file and click on OK 7 Restoring ARTS ODM 7 Database Backup 8 After clicking on OK, system will perform restore. The green bar shows progress. You should get a success message box. Click on OK to return to SQL Management Server.
