Riva Advance HE High efficiency condensing combination & system boiler Android Apple WALL HUNG BOILERS Riva Advance HE RIVA ADVANCE HE BOILER RANGE The Riva Advance HE boiler is the new generation of High Efficiency condensing boilers from BIASI. Achieving the highest ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency, they are amongst the most efficient boilers available today providing you with: • Significant savings on fuel bills • Lowest levels of polluting (NOx) emissions • Superb performance and reliability Replacing an older boiler with a new condensing boiler such as the Riva Advance could provide fuel savings of up to 30%. Further efficiencies can be achieved by installing energy saving controls such as the BIASI Outside Temperature Sensor. “A” RATED FOR EFFICIENCY Changes to the UK Building Regulations in April 2005 made it compulsory for all new and replacement boilers installed, to be high efficiency condensing boilers. Riva Advance achieves above 88% efficiency in accordance with SAP 2009 and 90% efficiency in accordance with SAP 2005, giving it an A rating on the Sedbuk database, the efficiency rating scheme for all boilers available in the UK. SOLAR SYSTEM The Riva Advance HE boiler can be combined with a solar hot water system to provide a Solar Collector CS highly efficient and environmentally friendly solution. When combined with solar, further Domestic Cold Water Inlet Domestic Hot Water SP Solar Temperature Sensor significant savings on fuel costs can be made External Sensor SE as well as decreasing the environmental impact. WALL HUNG BOILERS Advantages for the user WALL HUNG BOILERS Riva Advance HE TECHNICAL FEATURES Compliant with all current UK Building Regulations ‘A’ Rating for efficiency in SEDBUK scheme Fully modulating burner in both central heating and hot water modes maintaining output within +- 1deg C Simple built-in controls designed for easy use with instructions on fold down panel Advanced electronic control board providing: t Electronic flame ignition t Adjustable re-ignition sequence t Circulation pump control t Anti-jamming mode for pump and diverter valve during periods of in-operation t Fault self-diagnostic indication via 3 LED lights to aid maintenance t Frost protection system to prevent freezing when installed in STAINLESS STEEL HEAT EXCHANGER At the heart of the Riva Advance range is the Giannoni premix heat exchanger, made from corrosion resistant stainless steel ensuring long life and reliability. This proven product is used in over 1 million boilers every year. vulnerable areas e.g. garage or roof space t Automatic by-pass built in to protect the boiler if a low fl ow rate is present in system (e.g. all radiator valves shut) t Magetic hot water demand switch for long and maintenance-free life t Heating circuit flow switch preventing ignition if system lacks water t Easily accessible electrical connection point t Built in 7 Day programmer The Riva Advance electronic controls constantly monitor the correct ratio of gas and air that is required for combustion, to produce the optimum mix for the most efficient heat up. THE CONDENSING PROCESS High efficiency (HE) condensing boilers capture much more of the heat produced by the burned gas before it is discharged through the flue system to atmosphere. With a condensing boiler these flue gases are at a much lower temperature than those from a standard boiler as more of their energy is used to heat the water. During this combustion process condensation produces water which is captured and then drained automatically from the boiler via a pipe to a suitable drain point. HOT WATER HEAT EXCHANGER IN STAINLESS STEEL A high performance plate heat exchanger that rapidly responds to hot water demand, providing up to 14.2 litres per minute (RIVA ADVANCE 32kW). Constructed in corrosion resistant stainless steel to ensure long life and reliability. By monitoring the temperature of the boilers system water, the Riva Advance will help reduce any build up of scale. The Biasi Pro Fit scheme has been created to help improve the product knowledge on our range of boilers.
