CHAPTER 2: Overview
2. Overview The Wallmount Cabinet houses electronic controls, instruments, and components in indoor environments that may otherwise be exposed to dirt, dust, oil, and water. It has provisions for rackmounting in front and for panel mounting (using optional panels, ordered separately) in back. The cabinet features a full front viewing window, flush quarter-turn latching, and a double-hinged body for easy installation and maintenance. Two heights are available: the RMN300A-R2 is 24.02"H (53.39 cm), and the RMN350A-R2 is 35.98"H (91.38 cm). The cabinet’s front compartment latches open and closed with a quarter-turn latch. The cabinet’s rear compartment has internal, self-aligning latching for high reliability. For safety and maximum visibility, the cabinet’s window door has safety glass permanently bonded in place. Adjustable rack angles provide 19-inch mounting per EIA 310-D/IEC 297-1 universal spacing for easy installation. Rack angles are tapped 10-32 to make mounting simple.
