Errata to the RV Series Remote Control Owner’s Manual Errata RC/GS 976-0212-01-01 Rev A This errata applies to the RV Series Remote Control Owner’s Manual (Document Part Number 975-0210-01-01 Revision A). The following correction applies throughout the manual: • The Charge and Batt. Full LED indicators are orange (not yellow). Inverter Charge Batt. Full Green Orange Orange Red Error Charge LED Indicator The Charge LED indicator table on page 27 has the following corrections: • • The Charge LED indicator is solid during absorption and float charging (not flashing). The Charge LED indicator is flashing during equalize charging (not fast flashing). RC/GS Charge LED Indicator Other LED Indicators or Devices Meaning Solid Bulk charging Solid Absorption charginga Solid Batt. Full LED indicator solid Float charging Flashing Equalize charging Off No charging a.The Batt. Full LED indicator will be solid when the battery state-ofcharge (SOC) is between 90 and 100% according to the inverter/ charger's estimate. See “Absorption Charging” on page 3 and in the owner’s manual. Batt. Full LED Indicator The Batt. Full LED indicator table on page 28 has the following correction: • The Batt. Full indicator LED is solid when the battery is charged 90% or higher (not flashing). Batt. Full LED Indicator Other LED Indicators or Devices Meaning Solid Battery fully charged (100%) Solid Charge LED indicator solid Off Battery charged 90% or higher Battery below 90% charge Inverter Mode Messages The “Note” callout on page 34 of this section has the following correction: • The LED indicator does not flash during the charge mode if the inverter is turned on. Note: The Inverter LED indicator does not flash during the charge mode if the inverter is turned on. The Inverter LED indicator turns off if the inverter is turned off. 2 976-0212-01-01 Errata Charger Mode Messages The following subsections of “Charger Mode Messages” have corrections. Absorption Charging “Absorption Charging” on page 35 has the following corrections: • • In Absorption mode, the Charge LED indicator is solid (not flashing). When the battery reaches 90% state-of-charge, the Batt. Full LED indicator will be solid (will not flash). The following text replaces the paragraph under “Absorption Charging” on page 35. When the charger is charging in Absorption mode, the screen displays Absorption Chg, and the Charge LED indicator is solid. In addition, the Batt. Full LED indicator will be solid when the battery state-of-charge (SOC) is between 90 and 100% according to the inverter/charger's estimate. Float Charging “Float Charging” on page 36 has the following correction: • In Float mode, the Charge LED indicator is solid (not flashes quickly). The following text replaces the paragraph under “Float Charging” on page 36. When the charger is in Float mode, the screen displays Float Charging, and the Charge LED indicator is solid. At this point the batteries are fully charged (100%) and the Batt. Full LED indicator is solid. Equalizing Charging The paragraph under “Equalizing Charging” on page 36 has the following correction: • 976-0212-01-01 In equalize mode, the Charge LED indicator flashes approximately two times per second (not 8 times). 3 RC/GS The following text replaces the first paragraph under “Equalizing Charging” on page 36. To activate Equalize mode, press and hold the Settings button (right arrow) until the screen clears and Equalizing appears (approximately 6 seconds). The Charge LED indicator flashes approximately two times per second in equalize mode. The equalize charge will continue for 3 hours, and then automatically change back to float charging.
