Thank you for purchasing this Rockville RV265BT Off-Road / Marine Bluetooth Speaker System. We have spared no expense in manufacturing this unit to meet the highest quality standards. With proper care and installation this unit will provide you with the highest levels of sound quality. We hope that this unit will bring you years of performance and reliability. This RV265BT features Rockville’s exclusive HEX Base Cone technology and Flex Motion surround. HEX Base Cone technology provides extreme musical bass response by structurally engineering the cone surfaxce to interact in-sync with the sound vibrations. The Flex Motion surround in combination with a linear progressive CONEX spider provides a stiff, durable suspension that allows for perfect voice coil alignment and maximum excursion during music playback. These high tech speakers are powered by an built-in stereo amplifier. Please read this installation guide carefully for proper use of your RV265BT Off-Road / Marine Bluetooth Speaker System. INSTALLATION
• The RV265BT can be powered by your vehicle’s cigarette lighter port or it can be wired directly to the ignition using the included cigarette lighter power connector. The RED wire goes to the RED ( + ) wire of the ignition harness. The BLACK wire willl serve as a ground connection. It should be connected to the vehicle chassis. When connecting the ground wire make sure that there is no paint or other insulator blocking the ground connection. • To mount the RV265BT to your vehicle use the heavy duty mounting straps (A) included in the accessories package. Please ensure that the straps are pulled tight and the unit is strapped down properly to prevent any damage from occuring. • House your MP3 player / phone in the soft carry case and use the included strap (B) to secure it to your vehicle. Ideally you can mount the carry case around the center tube of your RV265BT. • The heavy duty zip ties (C) can be used to secure any loose cables or for additional mounting support

MULTIFUNCTION BLUETOOTH REMOTE CONTROL
The RV265BT comes with a multifunction Bluetooth enabled remote control with a 3.5mm auxillary input port (3.5mm to 3.5mm cable included). The remote conveniently mounts to the handle bars for easy access. The unit is waterproof and features oversized buttons for use with gloves. To pair the unit with your Bluetooth enabled device follow the simple steps below and you’ll be listening to your favorite tunes in no time. • Make sure that your devcice is set to “Discoverable”. Connect the remote control to the corresponding cable from the RV265BT. Once connected the unit will automatically begin to search for discoverable Bluetooth devices. The LED will flash two times every second. This indicates that it is searching. • Once a Bluetooth device is found, the remote control will go into pairing mode. You will hear a long tone and the LED will flash once every second until pairing is complete. Once paired the LED will remain on. • If the remote control is disconnected from the device it is paired to, it will autopmatically try to pair with that device the next time it is turned on. If the previous device is not found in 4 seconds, the remote control will begin to search for other discoverable devices.

AUXILLARY CONNECTION • To connect a non Bluetooth device the remote features a 3.5mm input port. It is located on the left side of the unit. Simply use the included 3.5mm to 3.5mm mini jack cable to connect the device to the remote control. Please note that connecting a device to the auxillary port will stop Bluetooth function.
