The S1100w is the industry's first wireless video transmitter to allow digital video transmission over two license-free wireless bands (5.3/5.8 GHz). It delivers high-quality MPEG-4-based video at 30 frames per second (fps).

The S1100w is the perfect product to deploy cameras in hard to wire locations, or to quickly extend the reach of your wired CCTV system. The S1100w leverages SmartSight's SPCF™ protocol, which resolves the "hidden node," quality of service, range, and security problems inherent to 802.11 wireless networking products. For compatibility with existing wireless infrastructure, the S1100w can also be configured for standard 802.11a operation.
• Access control via SSL-based authentication for unit and wireless network configuration and control
Combined with the S3100™ wireless-to-Ethernet bridge/repeater, the S1100w enables analog CCTV extension over the enterprise's LAN at a cost lower than that of laying new cables.
• Simple connectivity to PIR detectors and other sensors/alarms
Several S1100w transmitters and S3100 bridges can be used to create multiple video links covering a large geographical area (e.g., citywide monitoring). Configuration and management are made easy with the nDVR™, LVM, VVM, or SConfigurator™ software. This wireless transmitter is built on open standards to provide long-term investment protection.
