Pendant/Wall Mount Installation Guide
Mount with SAD015
This guide will describe pendant and wall mounting methods using bracket kit SAD012, SAD013, SAD015, and SAD016 with an adaptor plate.
Before beginning the following procedure, please make sure to have these items ready:
Preparations
Precautions 1. Please follow the instructions for installation. 2. Please keep this guide for reference. 3. Do not exceed the load rating as specified. 4. Please ensure this bracket is installed on a solid surface.

Preparations Before beginning the following procedure, please make sure to have these items ready: 4-2. For Maven series indoor PTZ dome models, align ceiling bracket (supplied with camera) with the screw holes on adaptor plate indicated as the figure shown. Disassemble Maven series outdoor IR dome cameras according to the instruction described in the camera’s quick start guide.

Run and connect cables properly through the brackets. Align camera bottom case with the screw holes on adaptor plate indicated as the figure shown.

Disassemble the indoor dome or PTZ dome camera according to the instruction described in the camera’s quick start guide. Run and connect cables properly through the brackets. Align screw holes on adaptor plate indicated as the figure shown with dome cap and attach the two together using four supplied M4x11.5mm flat head screws.

Attach camera bottom case with adaptor plate to dome cap using four supplied M4x25mm round head screws. Attach camera lens base back to camera bottom case using the camera’s provided screws.
4-1. For Maven series indoor dome models, align camera bottom case with the screw holes on adaptor plate indicated as the figure shown.
Ensure the lens is adjusted at the desired angle before the next step.

Re-attach dome cover.

Use appropriate adapter to attach your pendant pipe to dome cap.
Attach camera unit to adaptor plate using two supplied M4x14mm pan head machine screws.
Camera bottom case
Ensure the lens is adjusted at the desired angle before the next step. Re-attach the inner liner and the dome cover.
Camera lens base
Align the slot on top of the camera with the hooks on ceiling bracket and push the camera upward and forward to lock the camera in place. Use appropriate adapter to attach your pendant pipe to the dome cap if required.

Attach ceiling bracket to the adaptor plate using three supplied M4x14mm pan head machine screws. Run the cables through brackets and attach the safety wire as described in the camera’s quick guide.

Preparations

Attach ceiling bracket to the adaptor plate using three supplied M4x14mm pan head machine screws.
Disassemble the indoor dome or PTZ dome camera according to the instruction described in the camera’s quick start guide. Assemble the conduit adapter and the dome cap to the bracket. Then run the cables through the bracket.
Run the cables through the brackets and attach the safety wire as described in the camera’s quick start guide. Align the slot with the hooks on ceiling bracket and push the camera upward and forward to lock the camera in place.

Align screw holes on adaptor plate indicated as the figure shown with dome cap and attach the two together using four supplied M4x11.5mm flat head screws.
4-2. For mounting Maven series indoor dome or indoor PTZ cameras, use the SAD015 Pendant Mount Bracket Kit to attach the camera to the pipe.

Disassemble the Maven series outdoor IR dome cameras according to the instruction described in the camera’s quick start guide. Assemble the conduit adapter and the dome cap to the bracket. Then run the cables through the brackets.

4-1. For mounting Maven series outdoor dome cameras, use the SAD012 Pendant Mount Bracket to attach the camera to the pipe.

4-1. For Maven series indoor dome models, align camera unit with the screw holes on adaptor plate indicated as the figure shown. Attach camera unit to adaptor plate using two supplied M4x14mm pan head machine screws.

Attach camera bottom case with adaptor plate to dome cap using four supplied M4x25mm round head screws. Attach camera lens base back to camera bottom case using the camera’s provided screws. Ensure the lens is adjusted at the desired angle before the next step.

Recommended screw size For mounting installation, it is recommended to use screws with the head size greater than 13mm in diameter. When using washers on screws, the screw head size does not limit to the aforementioned dimension, but the washer’s outer diameter is preferably greater than 15mm.

Disassemble the indoor, outdoor or PTZ dome camera according to the instruction described in the camera’s quick start guide.
2.
Run the cables through the bracket and the pipe.
3.
Mount the Pendant Pipe Mount Bracket to the ceiling using proper screws.
5.
If a longer pipe is needed, use the SAD019 Extension Adaptor to add another pipe (user-supplied) for extending the pipe length.
