Paxos® advance Redundant, Modular, Reliable
Paxos advance is a redundant motorised lock for safes and vaults when it comes to providing maximum reliability, ease of use, programming and installation. Paxos advance is a logical enhancement of this tried and tested technology.

When Paxos advance detects a fault, the lock switches to the redundant* part of the system, ensuring the safe or vault can always be opened. All faults are logged in the audit, so conclusions can be drawn as to the cause of the fault or if a security breach has occurred.

*Redundant system: In engineering, redundancy is the duplication of critical components or functions of a system with the intention of increasing reliability of the system, usually in the case of a backup or fail-safe. The Paxos system is formally termed dual modular redundancy. An error in one component will then be out-voted by the other one. In a duplicate redundant system, the system has two of all sub components, all must fail before the whole system fails.

Questor The Interactive Code System
The One Time Combination lock Questor is characterised by its Interactive Code System (ICS).

The Questor lock works in OTC (One Time Combination) mode or ICS (Interactive Code System) mode which ensures an authorised person is on site in front of the lock before access is permitted to the lock, thus ensuring total security and peace of mind. Personnel obtain a validation code from the lock by entering their own unique personal code. This is relayed to a second party in a dispatch centre or via an automated despatch system and an OTC or ICS code is issued. To ensure the lock is secure, a close seal is obtained from the lock and relayed back to the despatch system. Every event is logged in the audit of the lock and software thus ensuring complete transparency. AS273 management software allows administration of locks and users from a central despatch location.

Smart Series Biometrics The SmartPoint Biometric Recognition Locking System captures the unique and significant features of a human fingerprint to allow or deny safe access. The authorised person must be physically present for access to be granted, ensuring positive identity and the accuracy of the audit. The SmartPoint software uses highly secure algorithms to recognise and analyse the unique relative positions of the fingerprint patterns. Actual finger prints are not recorded. This guards against any possible “identity theft” issues. SmartPoint will accurately verify or deny a fingerprint from a database in a fraction of a second.
