Portion Control Installation Instructions SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ! WARNING: Before starting installation, read and understand all safety label and warnings on the machine. Also review and understand all safety instructions in the owners, installation and service manuals. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or damage to the equipment. QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL ! WARNING: Only trained and certified electrical, plumbing and refrigeration technicians should service this unit. All wiring and plumbing must conform to national and local codes. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or equipment damage. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS This unit has been specifically designed to provide protection against personal injury. To ensure continued protection observe the following: ! WARNING: Disconnect power to the unit before servicing. Follow all lock out/tag out procedures established by the user. Verify all power is off to the unit before performing any work. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or damage to the equipment. ! CAUTION: Always be sure to keep area around the unit clean and free of clutter. Failure to keep this area clean may result in injury or equipment damage. Simultaneously press and hold push button switches on portion control module until LED light in center of module starts blinking, then release switches. Blinking LED indicates set mode is active. 2. Put desired amount of ice in cup, place cup under valve and push selected size button (small, medium, large, or extra large). Hold button in until cup fills to desired portion, then release button. 3. Wait for foam to settle then actuate button again to refill to desired level. (Note: The original dispense time from step 2, plus the refill time equals total dispense time programmed into the control.) 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for remaining drink sizes. 5. After programming all drink sizes, press and release CANCEL/POUR [sr] to return the portion control to the operation mode. Blinking LED light will go out. 6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for remaining valves. TO CHANGE DISPENSE SIZE Use the above procedure for the specific size to be reprogrammed. It is not necessary to reprogram every size. CANCEL/POUR 1. Push and release to cancel or stop valve dispensing. 2. Push and hold for continuous pour. The portion control has full memory retention when programming and in the case of a power failure.
