Sales Alert Vicon Introduces Reduced Pricing For Entire Surveyor Line Overview In order to maintain our position as a leading provider of PTZ domes, Vicon is pleased to announce that the entire Surveyor line is now priced much more attractively when compared to PTZ solutions from other industry manufactures. Prices have been significantly reduced on all Surveyor domes with the exception of the pressurized models. (Within the SVFT pressurized line, 36X replaces the 35X models.) We anticipate customers will be extremely receptive to the new SurveyorHD pricing, which will now be the most competitively priced high-performance HD PTZ dome on the market. In addition, in an effort to streamline our offerings, we are eliminating certain models. These include many of the 22X SVFT models and some 23X and 35X domes that transmit over Fiber or Twisted Pair. Charts on the following pages show products included in our trimmed line along with their new, lower prices.
Key Features of SurveyorHD Vicon’s Surveyor® HD combines the proven, high-performance design of the Surveyor series of dome cameras with high definition video. The camera’s superb HDTV quality video, low light capabilities and durability deliver a superior pan, tilt and zoom solution to customers. The design conforms to the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) specfication, providing interoperability with VMS software from many manufacturers.
Performance and Features: The Surveyor HD 1080p (2 MP) provides 20x optical zoom; the 720p (1.3 MP) model offers 18x optical zoom. This provides image quality equivalent to a 35X optical zoom using a standard definition camera, with the added benefit of a wider field of view. In addition, both models provide:

Multi-streaming, to deliver bandwidth-efficient video for viewing and recording
High-speed, 360o continuous pan
