Sales Alert Vicon Introduces Newly Improved IQeye Alliance-mx Series HD Cameras Vicon is pleased to introduce a completely updated and improved version of its highly popular IQeye Alliance-mx camera series. Along with a substantial improvement in video quality, these powerful new Alliance-mx cameras offer a new motorized remote-focus lens, an increased Field-of-View, extended range of model options and a modified housing for better flush mounting.

The addition of a motorized lens option allows complete zoom and focus control from the camera’s web interface, which reduces installation time and allows for easy long-term maintenance. The motorized lens has P-Iris (autoiris) that supports optimal Iris control.
Standard vs. Advanced Feature Model The expansion of the model variations increases the competitive and economical options for any security need. The new line offers 1MP and 2MP cameras in both cost-effective and advanced feature options. The 3MP and 5MP cameras boast the full-featured version.
Form Factor These new Alliance-mx products include an aesthetically pleasing housing, with a smooth surface void of slots and edges for easy installation and a flush fit. A high-quality, ultra-strong polycarbonate bubble and aluminum body combine to make the Alliance-mx dome vandal resistant to IK10 standards .The IP66 rating and UL certification allow for installation just about anywhere. An extended back box and cable assembly is offered as an option when using all the connections for I/O relay, audio and analog video output. The space provided by this optional back box makes it easy to wrap the wire assembly inside the enclosure.
VMS Compatibility The Alliance-mx series is seamlessly compatible with Vicon’s ViconNet video management software (VMS). Like any Vicon camera, these cameras can be added to ViconNet system without a need for a third-party license. The Alliance-mx series is also widely certified with most third-party VMS solutions.
