Samill Power r Warraanty Terms and Cond ditions Standard w warranty: The standardd warranty period p for th he SolarRiveer Series inv verters is 60 0 months (5 years) from m the date of installation aand no more than t 66 month hs (5.5 years)) from the datte of shipmen nt from Samill Power Co, Ltd. L The standardd warranty period p for th he accessory products, in nclude SolarP Power Manaager, SolarE Environmentt Monitor andd SolarArrayy Combiner is 24 monthhs (2 years) from f the datee of installatiion and not more m than 300 months (2.5 yyears) from thhe date of shiipment from Samil Powerr Co, Ltd.
Extension of warrantty period: For inverterss (SolarRiver Series) the purchaser p maay apply for a warranty ex xtension up too 12 months following thee installation ddate or 24 months m from the date of shipment (w whichever datte comes firsst) from Sam mil Power byy providing thee serial numbber of the uniit. Samil Pow wer may rejecct any applicaation receivedd which doess not meet thee date requirem ment. Extended warranty can be purchhased for 10, 15 ,20 or 25 years. For m more details please p refer too the Warrantyy Extension Order O Form. For system aaccessories thhe purchaser may m apply foor a warranty extension up p to 6 monthss following th he installationn date or 12 moonths from thhe date of ship pment (whichhever date co omes first) fro om Samil Pow wer by provid ding the seriaal number of thhe unit. Samiil Power may y reject any aapplication reeceived whicch does not m meet the date requirementt. Extended waarranty can be b purchased for 5 or 10 years. For more m details please p refer too the Warran nty Extensionn Order Form. Once the purrchase of thee warranty ex xtension has been processsed, Samil Po ower will sennd the warran nty extensionn certificate to the customerr confirming the extendedd warranty perriod.
Warranty claim proccedure: Please report rt defective devices d with a brief errorr description to our serviice hotline foor logging an nd send yourr warranty carrd to our servvice departmeent by fax/em mail to processs the warran nty claim. Altternatively, please p contacct your specificc dealer or insstaller if yourr unit is defecctive or faulty y. To make a claim under the warranty terms of S Samil Powerr, you will need n to suppply us with the t followingg information aand documenntation regard ding the faultyy inverter:
Prodduct Model No.(e.g. N SolarR River 3300TL L) and serial number (e.g.S3310C40055). Copy of the invoice and warraanty certificatte for the inveerter. Copy of the instaallation reportt and installattion date. Erroor message onn LCD screen n (if availablee) and additional informatiion regardingg the fault/erro or. Detaailed informaation about thee entire systeem (modules, circuits, etc.)). Docuumentation of o previous claims/exchangges (if applicable).

Repaiired by Samill Power, or Repaiired on-site, or Exchaanged with a replacement device of equuivalent valu ue according to t model and age.
In the latter case, the rem mainder of the warranty enntitlement will be transferred to the reeplacement device. d In thiss event, you w will not receive a new certifficate, as thiss replacementt will be noted d by Samil Poower. If the unit neeeds to be repplaced follow wing assessmeent, Samil Po ower will send a replacem ment unit imm mediately. Thee defective invverter shouldd be sent bacck to the cloosest Samil Power P office by packing in its original package if possible or other comparaable packagin ng.
Exclusion oof warrantty claims: To provide bbetter servicee to Samil Power’s P End Users, all Saamil Power authorized a D Dealers or Diistributors aree requested to respond to End E Users’ warranty claim m. Samil Pow wer will replacce any produucts or parts of o the product during the W Warranty Period proved to o be defectivee in design orr manufacture. Any defecct caused by the followingg circumstancees will not bee covered by the manufactturer’s warranty (the Deallers or Distribbutors are ressponsible andd authorized byy Samil Poweer for the folllowing investtigation):
“Waarranty Card”” not being sent back to Diistributor/Deaaler or Samil Power; Prodduct modifiedd, design chan nged or parts replaced not approved by y Samil Powerr; Channges, or attem mpted repairs and erasing of series num mber or seals by b non Samill Power techn nician; Incoorrect installattion or comm missioning; Failuure to complyy with the saffety regulatioons (VDE stan ndards, etc.); The Product has been b impropeerly stored annd damaged while w being sttored by the D Dealer or the end user; Trannsport damagge (including painting scraatch caused by b movemen nt inside packkaging during g shipping).A A claim m should be made m directly y to shipping company/inssurance company as soon aas the contain ner/packagingg is unnloaded and such s damage is identified; Failuure to follow any/all of thee user manuaal, the installaation guide an nd the maintennance regulattions; Imprroper use or misuse m of thee device; Insuufficient ventiilation of the device; The maintenancee procedures relating r to thee product hav ve not been fo ollowed to ann acceptable standard; s Forcce majeure (vviolent or storrmy weather, lightning, ov vervoltage, firre etc.).
Service aftter warrantty expiratio on For productss which are out o of warrantty, Samil Pow wer charges an on-site service fee, parrts, labor cosst and logisticc fee to end-usser which cann be any/all off: On-ssite attendancce fee: Cost of o travel and ttime for the teechnician in attending a on--site. Partss: Cost of repplacement parrts (includingg any shipping g/admin fee that t may applly). Laboor: Labor tim me fee chargeed for the tecchnician, who o is repairing g, maintaininng, installing (hardware orr softw ware) and debbugging the faulty f productt.
