SAMSUNG SCX 4100 MONOCHROME PRINTER W/TONER CARTRIDGE
1. Remove the five screws from the top cover as indicated: four on each corner and one in the middle of the extension handle.

2. Prop open the two tabs located at the rear of the cartridge as shown.

3. Open the cartridge cover as shown.

4. Remove the extension handle.
5. Remove the two screws from the gearless side as shown.
6. The end cap should slide out easily, if not, use a small flat-head screwdriver to help it along.
7. Remove the PCR as shown.
8. Unscrew the two screws as shown to remove the gear-side end cap.
9. Remove the end cap as shown.
10. Remove the drum as shown. Be careful not to bump or scratch against the doctor blade.
11. Front view of cartridge without the PCR and OPC.
12. Follow 12-14 and 22 for replacing and reinstalling the Doctor blade. You may skip these steps if you are not replacing the Doctor blade. Use a utility knife to detach the foam seal from the doctor blade as shown.

13. Once the foam seal is completely detached, you are then ready to remove the doctor blade.
14. Lift the blade up, then slide out as shown.
15. Now we are ready to remove the gears.
16. Remove all gears as shown.
17. Gears removed.
18. Remove the roller support plate first releasing the first clip located under the developer roller axle as shown.
19. Release the second clip located at the opposite end inside just above the developer roller.
20. Remove the support plate and pull out the developer roller.
21. Now we are ready to clean and reassemble the cartridge.

REINSTALLING THE DOCTOR BLADE 22. After you have reinstalled the components, use a rubber adhesive to bond the foam seal back in its original place. Bonding the foam will prevent leaks.
23. Reassembled cartridge.
24. Refill toner before installing top cover.
