The Samsung warranty covers parts with a labour allowance only. It is valid for 36 months from date of invoice, subject to full commissioning data and regular maintenance sheets being available for inspection. Cost for assisted commissioning is available on application. All Samsung warranty claims have to be submitted, along with all fault diagnostic details, for approval or rejection by Freedom Heat pumps Ltd. A written purchase order to be provided for warranty parts to be supplied. All claims are required to be made within 30 days of failure, any claims after this period will not be considered. Parts considered to be under warranty are to be returned within 14 days, at customer cost, to Freedom Heat pumps for inspection. Credit notes will be issued should goods prove to be of faulty manufacture. *All the above is subject to the equipment being installed using the correct working practises and installed within the parameters set out in the relevant technical manuals. The units also require regular (6 monthly) maintenance records to be made available. This work has to have been carried out by qualified personnel. Extended Warranty An extension to the warranty period can be arranged with Freedom Heat pumps. A 7 year warranty is available. Freedom HP Ltd, Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions This warranty order form constitutes the basis of our agreement to supply the replacement components as quoted on page 1 under warranty. The terms and conditions of our warranty are detailed below; failure to conform to these conditions will invalidate any warranty claim on Freedom Air Conditioning Limited. 1. 2. 3. Within 14 days of receipt of the replacement parts the components considered to be under warranty must be returned, carriage paid to Freedom Heat pumps Ltd Unit 2 Warrior Park Eagle Close Chandlers Ford SO534NF Email [email protected] When the component(s) is (are) returned the following information must be included within the package a. A fully completed copy of the Warranty Order Form b. A copy of the Freedom invoice that the original equipment was supplied on c. The exact fault with the component, “faulty” or” not working” is not acceptable. If the warranty claim is for a failed compressor, then the following action and information must also be applied. Failure to do so will result in the warranty claim being instantly rejected. a. The compressor must be returned with all stub or flare connections suitably sealed. No claim will be accepted if the compressor is returned with open or taped up connections. b. The total length (mts) of the inter-connecting pipe work. c. The height differential (mts) between indoor and outdoor units d. Type of refrigerant and the total system charge (kg). . 4. Once the faulty component(s) has been received it will then be fully bench tested by our Engineers or the Manufacturer and a report issued as to the suspected cause of the component failure. 5. If it is found that the returned component(s) is not faulty or has failed due to misuse, then a fully payable invoice will be raised. 6. Freedom HP Limited or the relevant Manufacturer’s warranty decision will be final and binding. WARRANTY LABOUR ALLOWANCE CLAIMS 1: At the discretion of both Freedom Heat pumps Ltd and it`s Manufacturers, warranty claims will be entitled to a Labour Allowance for the fitting of the Warranty part (s). 2: These allowances must be claimed for within 5 working days upon receipt of the Warranty part (s). 3: The customer is required to inform the Warranty Department in the Chandlers Ford office that they are in the process of making a Warranty Labour Claim. At this point, the customer will be advised the amount which can be invoiced for. 4: The customer is then required to issue Freedom Heat pumps Ltd an invoice to the value agreed. This invoice has to arrive at Freedom Air Conditioning Ltd within a further 5 working days. A credit will then be issued to the customer within 30 days from receipt of the invoice. 5: Each manufacturer has a different allowance for the various parts. These are on a `cost on application` basis. We are unable to provide a set list of allowances as the manufacturers are constantly changing the allowances.
