Sapling IP System Synchronized Clock Systems IP TalkBack Monitor Software With Sapling’s IP TalkBack Monitor Software, the entire IP system can be controlled from one location, enabling the user to make system-wide changes, control countdown functionality and more! Rolling out system-wide changes to your clocks is simple with Sapling’s Monitor program. This PC program will display all of the clocks configured to the clock network and will give you the capability to send out a preset configuration to the entire system, saving you from setting each clock individually. The monitor program features a simple messaging feature that allows for sending numeric messages to all of the clocks or just a selected few. The IP digital clocks can be manually set to count down from any time that is entered into the Monitor program. The Monitor program also offers a simple way to control any specific clock in the system. Need to adjust a digital IP clock to go to a specific time zone or set a specific clock to be in military time? No problem. Just locate the clock in the Monitor program and double click on it to open its own web interface. Our Elementary campuses have been struggling for years with trying to get a standardized time displayed throughout their schools. With the Sapling clocks in place, that is all in the past. Thanks for the great product and support Keith Thomsen, Technology Planner, Pinellas County School District “ “ The Sapling Advantage IP TALKBACK MONITOR SOFTWARE - Supervise the entire clock system or make system-wide changes using this simple PC program. BUILT-IN WEB INTERFACE - Each clock has a web interface built right in, allowing the user to set features such as 12/24 hour mode (digital clocks only), time zone offset, domestic and international Daylight Saving Time, etc. E-MAIL ALERTS - Get notification of any power failures, major time changes, NTP/SNTP server synchronization issues, display faults or mechanical failures all through e-mail. Server Synchronization Redundancy - Store up to 10 internal or external NTP/SNTP server addresses to ensure synchronization in the event that one of the servers fails to communicate. Energy Efficient - Set the digital IP clocks to dim or turn off the display at a scheduled time for energy efficiency. Fully Compliant - All IP clocks have UL, cUL and CE compliances pending. SMA Series NTP/SNTP Server Web Interface The SMA Series Web Interface provides a simple solution for programming or setting any feature on the Sapling NTP/SNTP Server. Accessing any of the master clock’s settings and features from anywhere with an Internet connection gives the user complete flexibility and control. •  Works with most internet browsers includingMicrosoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari •  Easily program schedules and events through the web interface •  Configure IP settings through an easy-to-use interface •  Activate any device off of the master clock’s relays immediately through the Manual Control option •  Program digital clocks to count down during breaks or between classes (optional feature) •  Set features like 12/24 hour mode or Daylight Saving Time right from your computer •  Set the time and date from the home screen SMA Series NTP/SNTP Server Sapling’s new SMA Series NTP/SNTP Server is available in both a 7000 and 8000 version. The 8000 Series comes fully equipped with a crisp LED readout and a backlit two line LCD display. Programming the SMA 8000 with up to 800 events is easy, thanks to the 2x8 rubber tactile keypad. The SMA 7000 Series features a bright LED display with two push buttons for simple programming. Standard Features: •  LED display for a clear, accurate readout •  Send NTP time out to any device •  Two line, backlit LCD display with 20 characters per line and a 2x8 rubber tactile keypad (SMA 3000 only) •  RJ45 input for synchronization to any (S)NTP server •  Interfaces with other systems •  12 or 24 hour mode •  Automatic biannual Daylight Saving Time changes (domestic and international) •  Bias seconds option for adjusting the time to fit your application, while still receiving an input •  RS485 input and output for time synchronization •  Two relays for simultaneous correction of two synchronous wired clock systems SMA Series Options: •  GPS input for UTC synchronization •  Wireless transmitter/repeater for correction of Sapling wireless clocks •  Four or eight auxiliary relays with 800 event capability (SMA 8000 only) •  Web interface software upgrade •  Extremely intuitive graphical user interface that allows the user to configure all of the settings of the SMA Series NTP/SNTP Server •  Control all of the IP settings •  View the complete list of pre-programmed events and schedules (SMA 8000 option) IP Web Interface Constantly on the cutting edge of technology, Sapling’s IP clocks can be controlled individually through our new web interface which allows you to configure every feature available on the clock from anywhere with a network connection. Each clock is capable of configuring up to ten pre-programmed NTP/SNTP server addresses. This feature prevents downtime by automatically going to the next server if one server becomes unavailable. The web interface offers a variety of features such as time zone offsets, IP settings and Daylight Saving Time (in the United States or worldwide). The IP digital clock offers additional settings such as brightness adjustment, 12/24 hour mode, and alternating time/date display. Setting Daylight Saving Time for a standard configuration or custom setting is easy Sapling’s IP clocks have international Daylight Saving Time functionality Set which NTP/SNTP Servers the IP clocks will get the time from View helpful diagnostic information about the clocks SBP Digital and SAP Analog IP Clocks Sapling’s IP analog and digital clocks are some of the most technologically advanced clocks in the industry.
