Saplings Bernice swinging crib 1 Assembly instructions – please keep for future reference Components – parts 1 LEGS X2 5 UPRIGHTS X2 2 CRIB SIDES X 2 6 3 BASE BOARD X 1 4 CENTRE CROSS BAR X 1 CRIB ENDS X 2 If you need help or have missing or damaged parts, call the customer helpline: 01952 550022 2 Components–fittings please check all fittings are present PRESENT BEFORE ASSEM Assembly instructions Stage 1 assembly of the crib body 1 PLACE METAL SLEEVE OVER INSERT ON CRIB END FACE AND PUSH IN REPEAT ON OTHER END 2 FASTEN ONE END (6) TO TWO SIDES (2) USING THE LARGE BOLTS (A); MAKE SURE THE GROOVES FOR THE SIDES FACE INWARDS. 3 SLIDE THE BASE BOARD INTO THE GROOVED SIDES. 4 FIT THE LAST END (6) INTO PLACE USING THE BOLTS (A) 5 PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE BASE IS FULLY ENGAGED INTO GROOVES BEFORE TIGHTENING Stage 2 assembly of the cradle supports 1 ATTACH UPRIGHTS (5) TO LEGS (1) USING BOLTS (B) 2 FASTEN THE CENTRE CROSS BAR (4) TO THE TWO UPRIGHTS (5) USING BOLTS (A) AND NUTS (C). THIS PRODUCT CONFORMS TO BSEN 1130-1:1997 3 Assembly instructions Stage attaching crib body to cradle supports Please note: It is recommended that two people take part in the assembly of this part. PLACE THE BODY OF THE CRIB AND HOLD TO THE TOP OF THE UPRIGHTS.USING BOLTS (A) PLACE THE BOLT THROUGH THE TOP OF THE UPRIGHT AND THEN PUT THE WASHER (F) IN BETWEEN THE BODY AND THE UPRIGHT AND SCREW INTO THE INSERT AND TIGHTEN AND REPEAT ON THE OTHER SIDE In the unlikely event that this product has missing or damaged parts, please call HELPLINE 01952 550022 to obtain spares. REQUIRED TOOLS: Flat bladed screwdriver (not included) 4 Safety and care advice USER GUIDE SAFETY: TAKE NOTE              Ensure that the Crib is used on a horizontal floor. Do not allow children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the Crib WARNING: Ensure the Crib is in the locked position when leaving a child unsupervised in it You should not fix any toy or decoration to the inside of the Crib that could provide a foothold and present a danger of strangulation or suffocation. The safety of the Crib could be adversely affected by fitting flammable drapes. When a child is able to sit, Kneel or to pull itself up, the crib shall not be used anymore for this child. Do not use the body of the crib without its frame. The upper surface of any mattress used should be at least 200mm from the upper edge of the crib sides in its higher position. The crib should not be used if any parts are lost or damaged. Only Saplings spares should be used. Be ware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. In the vicinity of the cot. Periodically check all screw fixings to ensure they remain tight. Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or split type cleaners.
