1 Saplings Katie crib Assembly instructions – please keep for future reference Components – parts check all components are present Lay parts on the floor as they are in diagrams below parts A and B have screw inserts A B C D E F G BASE 2 Components–fittings please check all fittings are present PRESENT BEFORE ASSEM Assembly instructions Stage 1 assembly the leg part 1 Attach leg (A) to support bars (F) on the top and bottom with large bolts and barrel nuts, now attach leg (B) to support bars (F) as shown in (figure 1) below. Make sure both screw inserts are facing outwards Figure 1 3 Assembly instructions Stage 2 assembly of the leg part 2 Attach leg (C) to support bars (E) on the top and bottom with large bolts and barrel nuts, now attach leg (D) to support bars (E) as shown in (figure 2) below. make sure screw inserts are facing each other Figure 2 Stage 3 assembly of the stand Now take leg part (1) and place inside leg part (2) as is on image on (page 1), and insert small bolt (2) into the middle and put washer (6) inbetween the legs and screw into position and do the same on the other side now the crib feet are ready to lock into position with lock bolts (4) Tie both ties around the support bars securely. The stand needs to be placed on a horizontal floor. Please see the picture to the right (fig 3) Fix the Fabric to the frame by putting the sides over the support bar and zipping up. Repeat this procedure for the two ends by placing the ends over the straps. Please see the picture (right) place the wooden base inside the crib making sure it is secure and level. Please note red internal stitch line denotes that the mattress must not exceed this height as is a legal standard requirement. Figure 3 Figure 4 4 Safety and care advice Ensure that the Crib is used on a horizontal floor. Do not allow children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the Crib WARNING: Ensure the Crib is in the locked position when leaving a child unsupervised in it You should not fix any toy or decoration to the inside of the Crib that could provide a foothold and present a danger of strangulation or suffocation. The safety of the Crib could be adversely affected by fitting flammable drapes. When a child is able to sit, Kneel or to pull itself up, the crib shall not be used anymore for this child. The upper surface of any mattress used should be at least 200mm from the upper edge of the crib sides in its higher position. The crib should not be used if any parts are lost or damaged. Be ware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. In the vicinity of the cot.
