Sarah Head was in the Army Special Services during the years after World War II. She was stationed in Kircheim, Germany, Seoul, Korea, and Osaka, Japan. Description The collection contains many photographs and papers belonging to Sarah Head. The photographs are organized by subject. The photographs are of Sarah Head and her friends, as well as scenes of city life and landscapes. The collection contains photographs of: Frank Milliti, Gertrude O’Leary, Betty Libby Zubon, Norma D. Biller, Cpt. McLuinland, Jean Vivian DeLong, Mary M. Grills, Bob Reese, Jean Thatcher, Jane Downing, PFC Allen, Lt. and Mrs. Lumar, Betty Smith, Lt. and Mrs. Ramey Wilson, Mary Melton, Gen. Dean, Col. Canender, Sgt. Redferm, and an unknown serviceman in Kircheim. Also in the collection are professional photographs of special events. General correspondence and papers, as well as invitations and greeting cards are located at the end of the collection.
