OBI-free RFoG Node
Arris Networks’ “OBI-free” Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) RF Optical Network Units enable cost effective provisioning of full interactive video, voice, and data services over an RFoG network. Optimized for improved upstream performance with Optical Beat Interference free, OBI-free™, technology facilitating multiple RF upstream channel operation and enabling full DOCSIS 3.0 channel bonding to be activated, maximizing upstream bandwidth usage. The units are available in various bandwidth options; 5-42 MHz return/51-1002 MHz forward; 5-65 MHz return/85-1002 MHz forward; and 5-60 MHz return/72-1002 MHz forward, each with either 1310 nm or 1610 nm upstream transmitters.
