If you don't read anything else,
read this! 1. A shaver should always be completely charged before its first us. Typically, a new shaver should charge 24 hours before its first use. 2. Always store and transport your shaver with its protective head guard on. This will keep the shaver's cutting surfaces working longer and will prevent it from breaking. 3. A shaver can be used in or out of the shower, but always keep the charging cord away from any water. The shaver will be damaged and you can become severely injured. 4. Always use a light touch when shaving. Pressing harder will actually cut fewer hairs because the pressure flattens the hairs, making them almost impossible to cut. 5. Apply moisturizing lotion after every shave to make your legs feel even more smooth & silky.

Wet/Dry Even though it is an electric shaver, our shavers are fully submersible, and can be safely used in the shower or tub. Power System Rechargeable shavers will run for approximately 30 minutes when fully charged. They will not shave while they are charging. Floating Trimmer The floating trimmer will flex in response to how much pressure you apply to give you the closest most comfortable shave.

STEP ONE: Charge ● Make sure to charge your new rechargeable shaver for 24 hours before its first use. This first charge is important to the shaver’s battery life. After the first long charge, the shaver will recharge more quickly. ● Take the charging unit that came with the shaver and plug its cord into an electrical outlet. ● Securely plug the charging unit into the shaver in a safe place. The green light indicates your shaver is charging. The shaver cannot be overcharged, so you can leave it plugged in and charging between shaves. Note: To preserve the life of the batteries, let them fully run out every six months, then recharge them for a full 24 hours.
(F) (G)
CAUTION! Make sure the shaver and your hands are dry when connecting the shaver to an electrical outlet..
Bikini Trimming Head Guard To safely trim the bikini line, place bikini trimming head guard on top of shaver before use.
(H) (I)
● When inserting the shaver into the charging unit, avoid pushing on the foils or they may become damaged. ● Always charge the shaver in a cool, dry place. ● The charging unit can only be used in North America.
STEP TWO: Use ● Press the ON/OFF button to turn the shaver on. ● Hold the shaver so that the foils touch your skin–this allows the shaver to work the way it was designed for the closest shave and minimum wear. ● After shaving, press the ON/OFF button again to turn the shaver off. ● Rinse the shaver head.
How To Use STEP THREE: Clean ● This is an important step! It is recommended to clean your Remington® shaver after every use for optimal performance. ● Make sure your shaver is in the off position. ● Press the side release button to slip open the head assembly. ● Foils – Do not use the brush to clean the foils. Instead, blow the shavings out or rinse the foils under cold or warm water. ● Cutters and Trimmer – Use the cleaning brush to sweep any loose hairs from the cutters and trimmers, or rinse/dunk them in cold or warm water. Do not use hot water. ● After cleaning, return the foil and head assembly to heir original position on the shaver.
● If the shaver was rinsed with water, or if you used it in the shower, hold it facing downward into the sink, and turn it on for a few seconds to dispel additional water. A gentle shake will also help. ● To clean the external surfaces of the shaver, use a damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or other chemicals. ● To dry, wipe the surface of the shaver with a dry towel. Do NOT use a hairdryer or heater to dry the shaver. U.S. Residents: To order shaver accessories, call 800-392-6544, visit www.remington-products.com, or visit your local retailer.
Usage Tips Getting a close, comfortable shave Remington® shavers need no adjustments to their heads or cutters before you shave. The heads will automatically adjust to the contours of your leg. Adjusting to your new shaver As with every shaver, your shave will improve over time. So allow about three weeks to develop an effective shaving style and for your legs to adjust to the new shaver. The adaptation period may take a little longer if your skin is sensitive, or if you alternate between shaving methods. Before You Begin Make sure your legs are clean before starting. Always use a clean shaver. To Shave Slide the ON/OFF button up to activate the shaver for shaving. ● Hold the shaver so all the heads touch your leg together. This allows the shaver to work the way it was designed for the closest shave and minimum wear. Avoid holding the shaver at an angle so only one head touches the skin. This could cause skin irritation.
● It is not necessary to apply pressure while shaving, just let the shaver glide lightly on your skin. Never press hard. Pressing only flattens your hairs, which makes it harder for them to enter the cutting chamber. It will also wear out the cutting surface more quickly. A gentle touch makes shaving easier and helps avoid possible skin irritation. Shaving With Soap or Foam Lather When using soap or foam lather, the shaver will glide smoothly over the skin, cleaning away oil residue while at the same time leaving skin soft and smooth. Apply the soap or foam generously to the skin. Do not use skin lotion, nourishing cream, or shaving cream of the non-lathering type. Shaver should be cleaned after using soap or foam. CAUTION: Not recommended for use on head, underarms or any other parts of the body, unless using bikini trimming head guard.
Frequently Asked Questions Wet/Dry? I have no clue what that means! You can shave in the shower like you would with a razor blade or outside of the shower, dry, without any water, shaving creams, or gels–just you and your shaver! While using the shaver dry, you will avoid any irritation that would come from a dry razor blade shave. While shaving wet, the shaver can be fully submersed in water, so you can safely use it in the shower or tub. But remember–never charge your shaver near water; the charging cord cannot come in contact with water. How do I operate the trimmer? All Smooth & Silky® shavers are equipped with a trimmer that works with the foil. The trimmer prepares the hairs by cutting the longest hairs and standing up troubled hairs to give you an extra-close, comfortable shave! I went on a trip and left my head guard at home–how can I get a new one? If you ever lose or damage your shaver, head guard, charger, or instruction booklet, contact Spectrum Brands, Inc. Customer Service at 800-736-4648 in the U.S. or 800-268-0425 in Canada. Someone will assist you in replacing your lost or damaged part.
How often should I change my foils and cutters? A good rule of thumb for replacing foils and cutters is every 6 to 12 months. This will keep your electric shaver running smoothly and will give you the closest shave without your shaver dulling. Sometimes foils will wear out more quickly due to friction created inside the shaver while it operates. Never use a shaver if the foil is torn in any way; replace the foils immediately. I’ve never used an electric shaver before–how am I even supposed to hold this? There is no correct way to hold an electric shaver. The most important part to remember is that the trimmer and foils should glide over your skin with little pressure. The foils should lie flat against the skin–this helps you achieve the closest shave. Will shaving make my hair grow back darker and thicker? We all wonder this when our hair starts to grow back after we shave, but it’s not true! Removing hair from the surface of the skin has no effect on its color or thickness. The day or two after shaving hair may appear rough and coarse, but if the hair were to continue growing it would return to its original appearance.
Maintenance Will shaving with an electric take my tan away? Nope! Skin’s color pigment is located in deep layers of the skin and electric shaving never comes close to those layers so there is no need to worry about losing your golden legs–just make sure to keep them smooth & silky with a Remington® shaver that fits your lifestyle. How do I charge my shaver? Attach the head guard to the shaver tightly, plug the charger into the wall, then into the shaver. The on/off button will light up when your shaver is charging. Remember to never place a charging shaver near water. My shaver doesn’t work when it’s charging! What’s wrong? Your shaver should not turn on while it is charging. This way you will never be tempted to take the charging shaver into the shower or tub.
When to Replace Your Foils and Cutters
It is very important to replace your foils and cutters when necessary to ensure a close, comfortable shave without irritation. We recommend that the foils and cutters be replaced every 6 to 12 months. Here are some signs of foil and cutter wear, indicating that replacement is needed: Irritation: If the foils get excessively worn, you may experience some skin irritation. Drag: When the cutters wear, you may feel a sense of pulling and a loss of closeness when you shave. Wear: Visually check the foils for any signs that the cutters have worn through the foils.
It is always best when replacing the cutters to replace the foils at the same time. NOTE: The replacement part for your shaver model is SP-360. U.S. & Canadian residents: To order, contact us at 800-392-6544, visit us at www.remington-products.com or visit your local retailer.
For Best Shaving Performance
We recommend that you use your new shaver daily for two to three weeks to allow time to find an optimum shaving method for your particular type of hair-growth patterns. NOTE: In case of accidental separation of shaver head: To reattach head, hold on the fully open position, direct one of the two hinges pins on the shaver into corresponding slotted hole on
Warranty the head assembly, then swing the opposite hinge pin into place. For assistance or help, call our customer service at 800-736-4648 in the U.S. or 800-268-0425 in Canada.
