The SANBlaze SB-RTM413 is a Rear Transition Module (RTM) for AdvancedTCA systems; the highly integrated module includes a compliment of I/O connections found on enterprise class servers including Video, USB, RS232, and SAS storage I/O. Data from all of these functions connect to the front ATCA blade via PCI Express routed on the Zone-3 connector. The RTM also includes passthrough Serial console and 1 Gb Ethernet for ATCA blade management. On the rear panel, the SB-RTM413 provides numerous connectors compliant with commodity off-the-shelf, nonproprietary cables. Standard connectors include a DB-15 Video connector, USB, micro-DB9 serial and two RJ45 pass-through management ports (RS232 and 1 GbE Ethernet). The SB-RTM413 includes a modular management controller (MMC) and conforms to the PICMG 3.1 revision 2 specification. For in-chassis storage capacity expansion, the SBRTM413 includes a single expansion slot that can be populated with a SAS disk caddy module. The disk plus caddy is hot swappable and supplied through a third party OEM.
