Van Medevoort Audio certainly knows the importance of good, long lasting connections and connectors, especially in her vM reference Q-series electronics. Therefore they use since many years, with much success, silver components in the signal path. Not only silvered wire (vM Silver Wire), but also silver in contact connections, capacitors, switches, soldering tin, etc. If the material silver, seen audiophile, the best is for internal power supply and signal transport, than is it of course also very suitable as audio cable for external transport. The core exist of absolutely oxygen free copper (’OFC’) with an extreme high purity degree. This conductor is silver plated via an electrolytic process. Just these two elements in their high purity and special hybrid combination, makes together the best core material for audio. The core isolation is Teflon: the best isolation around the wires that exists. The Q cables are especially designed and constructed for the Q reference series vM electronics. The superior audio quality makes this cables a very good match with our 400 series and other high end audio products.
