Scanning Photograph or Documents using PAINT 1. Double click on the Adobe Photoshop CS5 shortcut on the desktop as shown:
2. After Paont have started, click “File > Scanner or Camera” as shown :
3. A window will pop out as shown below for you to choose your scanning option:
4. Choose “Flatbed” if you are manually scanning your document, alternatively you may want to use the “Document Feeder”, if you are scanning multiple documents. 5. Choose “Color picture”, for color photo. 6. Choose “Grayscale picture”, for grey or colorless photo. 7. Choose “Black and white picture or text”, for document. 8. You may also want to adjust the DPI of your scanned document or photo by clicking the “Adjust the quality of the scanned picture”, a window will pop out as shown below, normal “Resolution(DPI) should be 300”, and choose your picture type at the droplist, and click OK
9. Click “Preview”, once you have selected all your setting, a window will pop out as shown:

11. Once the preview is ready, you may want to adjust/scale the scan area by dragging the little square dot on the preview window, as shown below:
12. Click “Scan”, after you have selected your scan area, a window will pop up to show transferring of data, as shown below:
13. After the scan is complete, your document will be display in PAINT, as shown:
