Šálek s.r.o. company produces multifunctional four‑wheel compact tractors in a power range from 16 HP up to 60 HP including a wide variety of farming implements and working tools. The company Šálek s.r.o. is settled in the Haná region in the town of Prostějov. Compact tractors from Prostějov are traditional products not only in the Czech Republic but also in Europe for more than fifty years, since the first compact tractor left the factory gate in Prostějov in 1955. Compact tractors by Pavel Šálek are a basic driving unit intended for the utilisation in many different branches of agricultural production, such as municipal services, industry plants, and the upkeep of green areas of parks, playing fields, gardens etc. They are designed especially for municipal work in towns, for in‑house transport and where easy manoeuvrability and economy of operation are required, i.e. where any utilisation of bigger tractors is rather uneconomical. The main philosophy of the Pavel Šálek products is based on an idea of permanent technological innovation and top quality.

Compact Tractors with Vega Cab Cab compact tractors provide the operator with a comfortable all-year-round operation even under harsh conditions. They have a large space for the driver with comfortable seats and a purposeful arrangement of controls and the instrument panel. The cab is equipped with heating, a ventilation system, front and rear working lights, a removable warning beacon, a windscreen wiper (optional radio and a roof window). Safety glass cab is designed to not worsen the view from the driver‘s seat. Wide use of compact tractors with cabs finds application in all sectors in both the agricultural operation, municipal sector, forestry, viticulture, orchards, tree nurseries, transport, and particularly where the emphasis is on the year-round operation and where the set stability is needed as well as keeping better track in rows especially at work, of front loaders, ditch mulchers or for working in the woods. • The cab compact tractors are manufactured in two variants: Comfort and Excellent, and in four power versions with water-cooled engines. The three-cylinder 42HP and four-cylinders 36, 47HP and 50HP.
WITH FRONT CONTROL
• Compact tractors are equipped with a mechanical fully synchronized transmission with 8 speeds for‑ ward and 8 speeds backward with the maximum speed of 30 km/h. Power transmission is provided by a single-plate dry clutch and an optional two-speed dry clutch.
• Standing wheel 4x4 drive with rear and front closure. The brakes are dry disc, inside the rear casing. • The tractors are equipped with front three-point hitch of 1N category and rear three-point hitch of 1 category. Front PTO shaft 1000 rpm and the rear PTO shaft 540 and 1000 rpm. • Hydraulic circuit controlled from the driver‘s seat may be 2–5 circuit with the pumps of 16–35 l/min output. • Comfort: both axles are equipped with wheels of the same size, i.e. 7.50x16 / 10x75x15.3 / 31.5x15.5x5. • The advantages of the Comfort variant are a compacter size of compact tractor and related mobility and accessibility. • Excellent: larger wheelbase by 100 mm, greater width of compact tractor and larger size of the rear wheels 11.2x20. • Increase in the size of the rear wheels provides better terrain passableness, better climbing ability as well as an increased traction. Increase in wheelbase ensures better weight distribution to the front and rear of the application of tools and increased space for the operator.

Compact Tractor with a Cabrio Front Steering Axle They find application both in the agricultural operation, municipal sector, forestry, viticulture, orchards, tree nurseries, transport, and particularly where the emphasis is on the set stability as well as keeping better track in rows especially at work, of front loaders, ditch mulchers or for working in the woods. • The compact tractors with a front steering axle are made in two variants: Comfort and Excellent, and five power versions. • The compactest power version is the twin-cylinder air-cooled engine Lombardini 30HP. Winea Articulated Compact Tractors The main advantage of articulated compact tractors is their high manoeuvrability, compact turning radius, narrow track and width predestining the tractor to the vineyards, orchards, gardens and animal husbandry for works at stables. Works during cultivation in narrow crop rows require more proficient drivers.
• The tractors are equipped with front three-point hitch of 1N category and rear three-point hitch of 1 category. Front PTO shaft 1000 rpm and the rear PTO shaft 540 and 1000 rpm.
• The Winea articulated tractors are manufactured in two variants: Comfort and Excellent, and in three power versions.
• Comfort: both axles are equipped with wheels of the same size, i.e. 7.50x16 / 10x75x15.3 / 31.5x15.5x5.

It is designed particularly for filling, transport and application of liquid manure, fecal solids, sewages and similar agricultural wastes. The result of the work of the divider is firewood cut into compact wooden blocks of 6–16 cm with maximum diameter of 95 cm. After drying, the blocks are suitable for all solid fuel heaters. The divider has two three‑knife drums that are connected by cogged wheels. The edges of two blades move closer to one another in a minimum distance (0.2 mm) when rotating and they separate the material to wood blocks by pressing it. The wood mass is automatically drawn into the crusher by the pull‑in effect of the knives kinematics. The knives are made of quality steel and can be individually grinded or replaced. The AMZ-120 Hydro and AZM-150 Hydro road sweepers are used for sweeping municipal areas, pavements, roads, also for regular maintenance of sportareas, etc. It can be used to sweep dust and dirt, or even the compact dust of snow during winter maintenance. The AZM-120, HYDRO 150 road sweeper is powered by its own hydraulic motor. For the application of the sweeper the machine pump must be connected to the hydraulic circuit of the compact tractor with 2 pieces of quick connectors. A pump with the capacity of 20 l/min and the presure of 80 atm must be attached to the compact tractor to provide correct functions of the machine. The machine can be easily aggregated for both front and rear application by using three‑point hitch for compact tractors with ISO730/1and 1N hitch. The road sweeper side leading is mechanically controlled as a standard. On request it can be controlled hydraulically directly from the driver’s seat by using a linear hydraulic motor.

The front knife trimming machines are intended for summer cutting of herbaceous shoots in the vineyards of any thickness. The device operates on the principle of trimming overgrown vines by using rotating blades. The remains of the chopped mass in between rows are possibly processed by crushing using a mulcher at the same time with the trimming. This combination results in reduced time required for the treatment of the crop. The control is located in the drivers’ cab in the tractor and provides easy access to working bodies. Directly through the hydraulic cylinders it is possible to set working height and tilt of the trimming machine according to the status of the crop and the supporting structure. When using hydraulic motors, there is a powered number of the vertical and horizontal rotors, on which knives and blades are fixed. The trimming machine can be used for all types of tractors equipped with hydraulic aggregate, ensuring the supply of sufficient quantities of oil in the optimum working pressure. The field sprinklers are designed for the area treatment of field crops with pesticide agents as stated in applicable lists of permissible plant‑protecting agents, for area fertilisation with fluid industrial fertilizers. It is further possible to use the sprayer in vineyards and ifor sprinkling with salt solution in winter season. The sprinkles are designed as tractor‑mounted for coupling through a standard hitch of category I.
