SCE0100 Sophisticated electronic countermeasure system (BLOCKER / JAMMER) The electronic countermeasure system SCE0100 JAMMER was developed by IACIT – a Brazilian company – with 100% national technology. The SCE0100 is a robust family of Electronic Countermeasure Systems (Electronic Warfare) and can be operated in any location in order to block/jam different RF signals. The SCE0100 family has various settings/configurations, which allow the user to block/jam: Drones/SARP; Cellular Communication; RCIED (Remotely Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices) and other devices that use signals Radio Frequency (RF) for communication. The SCE0100 family allows for a wide range of operating frequencies, between 20 MHz and 6 GHz. The family features the following configurations: • DroneBlocker: against Drones/SARP (micro and mini); • ComBlocker: against cellular communication; • RCIEDBlocker: against RCIED; • MobileBlocker: a portable, handheld configuration against RCIED. The SCE0100 has sets of antennas that allow its operation at long ranges and with an excellent coverage. It also includes a variety of optional settings as required in the designated mission; the user can configure the SCE0100 system as required in terms of coverage, frequency of use, output power level, signal waveforms, etc. When used to block Drones, besides blocking the main communication link, the SCE0100 is also able to block the Drone’s GPS navigation signals. Another feature of the SCE0100 is its use in structures in order to block the cellular communication, or in convoys in order to block RCIED. The SCE0100 features a modular architecture, compact, with low power consumption and flexible interfaces, allowing its use in various land applications (fixed and/or mobile), air and sea. ComBlocker | Applied against Cellular Communication The ComBlocker was designed to block an indoor or outdoor cellular communication, restricting the use of cell phones in designated areas for security and/or privacy reasons. It can be used in large structures, meeting rooms, tactical missions, special operations and major events. Blocking cellular communication is performed by generating interference in the transmission bands of the RBS (Radio Base Station) throughout the mission, without relying on any detection system to trigger the jammer system. It is possible to use one or more units to cover all desired frequency bands, for example, when there is a need to block radio and other communication. The IACIT‘s ComBlocker has various configurations and can be mounted in a portable or ruggedize hack, thus, to be operated in different locations, platforms and environmental conditions. The IACIT’s ComBlocker has multiple output power settings per channel: 1W, 10W and 50W. Protection against cellular communication - indoor and outdoor RCIEDBlocker | Applied against RCIED The RCIEDBlocker is designed to inhibit the operation of a variety of radio frequency devices of short-range and low power consumption, which are often used for there remote activation of improvised explosive devices (RCIED). The RCIEDBlocker is used to protect soldiers and/or convoys. The RCIEDBlocker has the ability to block the communications in a radius of tens of meters, constructing a “safe bubble” around the target that needs to be protected. The IACIT’s RCIEDBlocker has independent interference channels with output power on each channel ranging from 1W / 10W / 50W / 100W. Protection of soldiers and/or vehicle convoys against RCIED DroneBlocker | Applied against Drones/SARP Nowadays, security forces around the world are facing a new type of threat: radio-controlled Drones, flying or hovering over stadiums, prisons and places of great concentration of people, which may pose threats such as: • GRecording and broadcasting of unauthorized videos; • Transporting explosives, illegal goods and other products; • Assassination of VIP, terrorist attacks and other threats. To combat this new type of threat, IACIT presents its “DroneBlocker” solution, which is able to block the Drones/ SARP from long distances. This solution requires the installation of antennas on the top of the structures that need to be protected, or their installation in portable masts for special and/or major events missions. These antennas are specially built to handle the jamming missions, obtaining excellent results in range and coverage. IACIT presents a complete solution that monitors, detects and acts against Drones. The solution consists of Cameras, Acoustic Sensors, Radars and Jammers, integrated together in order to detect and prevent Drones attacks. The “DroneBlocker” covers the entire frequency range used by Drones/SARP controlled by radio. The “DroneBlocker” has the ability to block/jam threats over the operating frequency range, with different output power levels: <1W, 10W, 50W and 100W. Another form of system use is in portable configuration, for the employment in temporary and ad-hoc basis. The “DroneBlocker” has two operating modes: “stand alone” or “integrated”. In the “stand-alone” mode, the jammers controlled manually, being activated/deactivated by the user at any time during the mission’s period. In the “integrated” mode, the jammer is part of a wider system, which consists of detection sensors (acoustic sensor, camera, radar), intended for detecting a threat and triggering the jammer accordingly. Surveillance Cameras: C2 Software IACIT has developed an image-processing algorithm, capable of detecting targets (Drones) through the videos of the surveillance cameras installed along the perimeter. The camera subsystem detects the target and sends a message/trigger to the blocking subsystem (Jammer) in order to activate it. IACIT has developed a software application (C2), which incorporates all the sensors, and includes simulation tools, alerts generator, etc. Integrated control tool with RF propagation simulation Portable Radar The subsystem detects and tracks air and ground targets with low RCS. Through this cutting-edge technology, the system provides the ability to meet the challenge of efficient detection of miniature Drones, characterized by a small RCS. The system can be operated in a network of multiple sensors and jammers, communicating via ethernet cable, fiber or wireless communication, all controlled by a central control unit (C2). Whenever the radar subsystem detects a target, it sends a message/trigger to the blocking subsystem (Jammer) in order to activate it. The air defense radar has a wide reach and is extremely light. Acoustic Sensor The acoustic sensor detects the target through a high-precision microphone, processes the signal and performs a comparison to the database, looking for a signature equivalent to the noise generated by the Drone. If there is a match, it sends a message/trigger to the blocking subsystem (Jammer) in order to activate it. Ethernet Acoustic Sensor Radar Software C2 Installation types: IACIT´s solution is flexible and has a variety of configurations, to be selected in accordance with each mission’s requirements. The user can initiate the process of BIT (Built-In Test) in order to verify the performance of the SCE0100. The SCE0100 allows for local and/or remote operation. Remote operation can be performed via cables or WiFi (exclusive frequency). The SCE0100 has an integrated tool for RF propagation simulation, which allows the users to easily simulate the implementation of the SCE0100 in the area of interest. The user can configure the SCE0100 system according to his requirements of coverage, operation frequency, output power, signal waveforms, etc. This tool is dedicated to the use of the SCE 0100 and can help the users to predict the coverage. The SCE0100 has an user-friendly Human-Machine Interface (HMI), which allows the user to configure each channel independently and to change parameters such as frequency, scan rates, modulations and output power. The SCE0100 allows for the use of directional or omnidirectional antennas. Directional antennas can cover a specific sector and block threats at relatively long distances, while the omni-directional antennas allow for a 360º coverage.
