Active/Passive Input: These two inputs are designed to match or re-voice the amplifier for the particular type of pickups used. The Active input increases the amp’s dynamics and high end sparkle compensating for the pickups typically compressed and midrange-heavy character, but without changing the guitar’s tighter attack and feel. 4-Position Focus control: This control adjusts the preamp’s eq and gain to optimize it for 6, 7 or 8 string guitars, by gradually increasing the lowend for the detuned instruments, and also includes a Tight setting for very aggressive staccato playing. UK/USA Clean Voicing Switch: This switch changes the clean channel’s character from the tighter low end and cutting edge associated with many amps designed in the UK to the warmer low end and smoother highs typical of most US amps.

HELLRAISER DEPTH CHARGE POWERED 4 X 12 SUB-CABINET The Depth Charge is an innovative speaker cabinet designed to sonically enhance sub-A440 tunings and 7 and 8-string instruments. The internal 175watt power module and crossover amplify and ‘focus’ the low frequency that can muddy up your tone or simply can not be handled by a ‘standard’ 4x12 guitar cabinet. A sonically tuned chamber is built inside the Depth Charge, giving the appearance of a normal cabinet... but the Depth Charge is far from ‘normal’. An on-board volume control allows you to ‘blend’ how much sub-lows you need from the specially designed 12” speaker, while the 3 Celestion speakers add the traditional cut and tone you want. The Depth Charge works extremely well with our ‘Focus’ control, standard on all Hellraiser and Hellwin amps. The Depth Charge adds depth and body to impotent or thin sounding amps, making the tone controls seem more active. Another cool ‘after the fact’ use of the Depth Charge is when your are in a live situation and the sound guy or band is telling you to turn the guitar down, and you get to the point where your once massive sound is now low and ‘uninspiring’... the Depth Charge returns the ‘umph’ and feeling of ‘moving air’ that was sucked out of your tone.
