Flame Detectors IR + UV FLV45 FLV45A FLV45A-AL INFORMAZIONI TECNICHE TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES • high speed of intervention • wide area surveillance • immunity to false alarms • possibility of safe operation in environments with large perturbations in the visual field APPLICATIONS • fire detection in fuel stores (petrol, oil, kerosene,etc.). • flammable chemicals • storage of paints • storage of paper products • timber storage • chemical laboratories • deposits of flammable gases The flame detectors FLV-45 are suited for electronic fire detection systems where the speed response is of primary importance. They are able to detect the presence of a flame (target flame - see the technical data below) up to 25 m, easy to install and are very reliable. These detectors find particular application in the places where it is presumed that a fire may develop quickly, such as in warehouses of petroleum products, paints, plastics, alcohols, etc. The principle of operation of these detectors is the detection of the infrared IR and ultraviolet UV components of the flame. The flame emits a very broad spectrum of radiation ranging from ultraviolet to infrared range. The detection of both infrared and ultraviolet components is a clear evidence of the presence of the flame. Two special UV and IR sensors, through a suitable window of vision, “watch “ the supervised area . When inside this is generated a flame due to start of fire, the IR and UV radiation emitted by the flame itself, are readily detected by the sensor which , through appropriate associated electronics, will trigger an output relay for sending the alarm signal. The electronic board is accompanied by special algorithms to give the detector a high immunity to false alarms. The detector has a sensitivity adjustment independent for the two channels IR and UV in order to allow a perfect adaptation to the environmental conditions.
